Hello, you're all invited to help me create a human triforce in Seattle Center (under the Space Needle) on Saturday, December 19th. We have a chance to win up to $1000, which will be donated to Child's Play.
To RSVP (not required) go to the facebook event page:

If you don't have facebook, all the info is also on Craigslist, in case you'd like a handy link:

Kotaku is hosting a contest of Zelda fandom, with a $1000 Nintendo Store grand prize:
"Here's what we want to see from you: Photo or video proof that you've convinced friends, congregations, schools, entire stadiums of people that the Zelda franchise is the best around. In the video or photo your converts will need to each be holding a Kotaku sign so we know it is legit and for this contest. You''ll also want the video or photo to somehow demonstrate your love and their new-found love of the Zelda games."
So, here's the plan:
Gather as many people as possible, fans of the Zelda franchise and those not yet indoctrinated, and spread the love by creating a human triforce at the Seattle Center and taking a photo (and video) from above. If our entry wins any prizes, they will go to the Child's Play charity :

What to do if you want to participate:
Bring yourself (and friends and family, the more the merrier)
Dress warmly! Right now it's forecast for 45 and sunny, but that will likely change, and it will probably take at least an hour to make this happen.
Bring a Yellow or Gold piece of paper (at least 8x10) with the word "Kotaku" written on it
Arrive at Seattle Center International Fountain at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 19th (For map of where the fountain is, go here -
http://www.seattlecenter.com/Information/map.asp )
From there, we'll organize people into a triforce and snap photos. I'll bring my video camera if I can get it to cooperate, and if we have enough people, we'll send our designated photographer up the Space Needle to snap shots from above.
