Diet Soda causes cancer of the brain.
    In sufficient doses, yes.

Of course, if you take any single ingredient found in our food and started taking those sorts of doses, you'd almost certainly get cancer of some sort. So, really, just restrict yourself to a single six-pack of diet soda per day, and you'll be fine.

The sad thing is this might just be about what I drink per day.

If you leave it out in the sun in a hot car, some of the artificial sweetener can start to break down into methanol and give you mild methanol poisoning.
Aspartame breaks down into formaldehyde when heated, too.

Yeah for me beverages a huge vice. Of all the food items I struggle with, soda/juice/milkshakes are the most difficult. Whenever I go to the movies I end up easily smacking around one of the extra large sodas (like 64 oz or whatever), sometimes getting a refill.

If I have the willpower to resist a soda I just drink water because diet soda tastes like ass.

What do you mean ugh? One of the teams is my brother's alma mater- Wisconsin-Whitewater.

For those unaware, D3 college football has turned into sort of a Rangers/Celtic mechanic: two teams slug it out amongst each other every year and the rest of the league is there purely for decoration. Those two teams are Mount Union and UW-Whitewater.
