[Recommend On!] Christmas Gifts!

Ok, well, I'm a poor college student(Surprise!). I can't afford to buy all the latest and greatest games when I want. I don't get to play the classics, new and old.

Thankfully for me, I have a large extended family! What does this have to do with anything you ask? Christmas gifts!!

I just got back from campus and now my family wants my christmas list. I haven't thought about this at all(tks finals ^^), although have a few ideas. I am hoping to rely on you great bunch of people to help me out a little, to fill out the list a bit more than my current one.

I like games, I prefer Action RPG's the most. I can always play games like Diablo II, Borderlands, or even Too Human, and know I'll enjoy my time. But RPG's are good and so are action games. Or anything with a good story really.

The kicker is that I plan on asking for old and even used games to get into the ~$30 range from my Aunts and Uncles, for a potential of about 10 games to get in a week! I have a PS2, 360, and DS(Although finding the DS charger is a whole nother story...)

I plan on playing FF12 here over the weekend, but basically any good game that has came out over last 3 years I haven't played, so any sort of classic or recommendation is in play!

So far what I have is:
Bioshock
God of War 1/2
Modern Warfare 2(Out of price range, but hopefully my parents get it for me!)
A Jak and Daxter Game, any thoughts?
Viewtiful Joe(Always kind of interested in this game, old school though)
Castlevania - Dawn of Sorrows
World Ends With You

Hopefully this list kind of helps out a little, I'm definately open to trying new things though... just give me some quick thoughts! I'm really only looking for one important ingredient: fun

Not as much action as you'd like but Mario and Bowser's Inside Story is a stellar game.

Dig out that DS charger and ask for Zelda: The Phantom Hourglass, Zelda: Spirit Tracks just came out and is really good IMO but I don't know if you'll be able to get it cheap/used

if you want more traditional DS action/rpgs, There's rune factory, which you'll like if you like harvest moon, if not it may seem too simple.

Also kingdom hearts if you haven't played 'em, I'll assume you played the PS2 ones (you did right!?) Kingdom Hearts on the DS plays very similarly to it's console cousins

Thanks for the answers guys. I haven't even heard of Mario and Bowser's Inside Story, i'm going to have to check it out!

Zelda?! I Can't believe I forgot about the ones for the DS... That's why I knew I could count on you guys! The Phantom Hourglass is cel-shaded, right? I'm embarrassed I didn't think of these.

And, yes... I've played Kingdom Hearts 1/2 on the PS2(At least when you ask me in a few months after i ask for them this christmas!)
