I just bought my boyfriend's Christmas present off eBay (listen I'm NOT a bad girlfriend, ok! the story is below) and obviously I kinda sorta need it SOON. I completed the auction about an hour ago. I went to pay immediately, and I included a note for the seller asking them to please contact me about doing overnight shipping, since I need it by Tuesday.
But every time I click on the goddamn "Continue with Paypal" button, I get an error message saying "Sorry — your last action could not be completed." Then there's some text saying that if I was trying to pay for an order, I should check my email in 30 minutes for a message from Paypal because it should be paid. Well it's been more than 30 minutes, and I'm starting to get tired and cranky.
I know it's not an issue with my current Paypal information, because all of that (name, address, billing info, telephone, EVERYTHING) is up to date. I used eBay/Paypal to buy some things about two months ago, it worked fine then so I'm not sure why it's not working now.
tl;dr: I'm trying to pay for a super-important eBay purchase with Paypal and the goddamn site keeps giving me error messages.
Backstory: I bought him a Peyton Manning jersey off Amazon about a week and a half ago. I hadn't received it as of Friday and was starting to get really worried. Lo and behold, I get an email at 5 p.m. on Friday from the seller - "oops sorry, we sold out, so we cancelled your order and here's a 10% off coupon cuz you TOTALLY want to order from us again!" Fucking wonderful.

So, chill, and keep looking, is my advice. The site's probably clogged with last-minute buyers like us.
It's possible to just pay through Paypal directly, yes? How does that work from eBay's standpoint? I'm just trying to think of ways to facilitate this. >.< I hate last-minute stress-shopping, rawr!
