Okay, there's only one reason I can't go full time on the Flare Gun.
Motherfucking SCOUTS. I can't chase them down for another burst, I have an incredibly hard time hitting them with the flaregun, using melee is out of the question, and they're fast enough to go find some health before they burn to death on their own.
You just can't fight them without a shotgun.
EDIT: I always try to not grab health packs when I have a Medic on me because someone else (like the medic) might need it soon, and I have a medic healing me already.
Maybe you can't. :J
And ZERO, I don't think you understand how much I hate demoman. It's not quantifiable.

well, yes, but sometimes it's necessary to retreat beyond the front lines and sometimes the medic will try to help you out with that but he can't afford to ignore the front guard and that's when you should take a health pack.
the need that people feel to uber one dude is too prevalent if anything. more medics need to be willing to use an uber for defense with the goal of keeping as many dudes alive while defending against a push.
if you're pushing offensively its usually better to just keep it on one dude though yes.
Defensively the point is moot
The problem is when you get an uber for a second so you charge into a fray of enemies and then the medic changes targets and you die
ffffffffffffffffffffffff
yeah but no one views ubers as defensive so they assume its cool to run in even though I was just trying to shield you long enough to get your useless ass back to a health back and then you can continue to be useless without having to wait 20 seconds.
yeah, you usually have to tell someone that it's not a push uber

That's what you say about everything you dislike.
I dislike missing headshots. That's quantifiable. It's like stepping in dog poopie. You're mildly unamused, it stinks, and you want to blame someone else but you know it's your fault. Demomentyranidetc, though, just not possible. I hope you learned something.
Someone needs to get that wordle of all of goomba's posts from a couple threads ago, and add all the new posts he has done. Instead of having a big "reflect" in the middle of the wordle now, there will be a huge "demomen" and "targe".

That something being: nerf the targe.
It's not always my fault. 90% of the time it's lag!
Another 9% of the time it's my teammates getting in the way of my shot.
Speaking of lag, now that I have my targe my connection's being lousy. Three nights ago I started getting some gnarly packet loss. Two nights ago I could play decently but, from what I could gather, sounded like I had a machine gun for voice comms. Last night was alright, but I was running around Ginger's map too long to play. And tonight the packet loss was bad as ever so no playing.
Even surfing the web is hit or miss.
Oh the upside, I've been working on my map a lot. Just in time for people to be away for Christmas?
After a year or so of playing about a half an hour or so at TF2 at a time and getting bored/frustrated before I leave due to not being able to find a server to my liking, I finally rejoice to find the addition of bots.
"At last!" I tell myself. "Now I can practice so that I may, one day, have fun with this game!" Ten minutes later, every bot has the little "dominating you" icon over its head.
I usually do pretty well at FPS games, but man, this game just isn't my thing.
I got them the first night and haven't even equipped them once. I just can't see the use, really. Not over the banner or the shotgun. I suppose if you're a hardened death-from-above rocket jumper. That's definitely not me, though. Then again the main reason it isn't me is because I hated how much health I'd lose, so maybe I should give them a shot...
Overall, the only new unlock that I really like is the banner, and to a lesser extent, the equalizer. Targe/Eyelander is kinda fun but not better than a sticky launcher, and I don't quite like the SR as much as the normal one, not that I don't think it has uses. The Direct Hit is a weapon simply not for me. I've never been a master of precision aiming, and part of the fun of soldier was not having to be so precise.
I've found the Equalizer the most helpful in aiding in retreat when I'm low health. I've managed to kill people with it, but it kinda sucks when you're right behind someone and they just turn around and one shot you with anything. I guess it's only fair given the circumstances, but it doesn't make me like it any more. It also makes me hate it when I'm killed by it, especially if I'm the one who brought the soldier down to low health in the first place.
I have noticed a lot of demos trying to charge me when I'm a heavy.
9/10 times I can easily kill them before they get to me. I understand how that can work against a lot of classes. But honestly -- running straight at a Heavy is probably the worst thing you can do.

It took me a few failed charges but yes, use grenades.
Today, I learned that sometimes the only way to get your stupid drooling team to win is to literally yell at them. lol pubbies
Also, I'd give a kritz/uber to this one particular demoman, he would launch like 3 grenades into a crowd and then keep running, by the time we made it out there's like 10% charge left and then he'd attack shit that's way behind their side of the lines. Yeah ok. I called him out for doing this because it's not like the team I was on was a shining example of how to play the game, and he told me he killed like so many guys. I think he gave a splinter to a heavy, he did basically nothing.
Yes pubs are stupid, I knew this before. I'm only playing on one because of a dude (but to be fair he is worth it) but things like that make me laugh so much. At the time no, I think I was close to getting heartburn and turning gray, but I think it's pretty hilarious how pro he thought he was at the game.

PUBS
Yes that is 3 sentries in the same place.
Also, guess who got the annoying achievement:
Protip: Charge into a spy with the dead ringer up, the fake death counts.

I didn't take any screenshots tonight, but my favorite is when there are 3 blue engies on like dustbowl or goldrush or something defending the spawn.
EDIT: If those sentry guns were placed just a bit a part from each other it would hold off a regular pub group.
But yeah just one uber demoman could take all of those out. They could at least stick one on a different level than the others.

So doesn't affect scoped damage eh? Huh, so practically useless then.
It might affect the lower areas of the scoped damage too, but I don't see why you would scope when you're doing 150 damage unscoped, unless you have a Heavy to snipe.
I don't know if this is even possible right now considering some weapons have the same name, like the axe and the axetinguisher, and I think the two blutsaugers and bonesaws. I know this was the prime reason people were having trouble making a "no unlocks" mod.
So many times I saw a Demoman charge a heavy from across the map and get cut down by minigun fire before they got close. Just pipe them, they do like 100+ a hit at a decent range and you can shoot them over cover.
Really, pipes are pretty ridiculous. The sword and charge should really either be used to move across cover quickly, to retreat or to pick off lone opponents so you can get the speed and health boost.

Just ignore him. It won't matter how much he gripes if everyone just skips over his complaints.

:?
I'm messing around withe Axtingisher, slicing through thin air, when I hear the crit spark noise. Testing it a few more times repeated the event.
Are they just false positive, or did Valve buff the axstinguisher?
I have 2 pairs!
When I get the buff banner though, I may never wear the boots again.
Sometimes when shooting as heavy your shots will look like crits, but won't actually crit if they hit someone.

I'm Henchman #21, btw.
I can rape face all the way across the map with a Kritz on me.

How bad is it to kritz a sniper? Does it actually do anything?
technically yes, practically no.

Charging aware heavies is always a bad idea, no matter what class you are.
