I'm feeling pretty good right now, had some friends over to play Brawl and Modern Warfare 2 for my 18th birthday which was really fun.
Only tinge on that was my sister's boyfriend, who thinks I'm a social recluse because usually when he sees me (in my house) I'm on the computer or something like that (because I'm in my house). So most of the friends who were here to play games were male (surprise, surprise) and he was like "Where are all the girls man? What's with the sausage party?" and my dad starts piping in with this shit to.
Yes, I'm sorry to be playing video games with guys, maybe I'll bring along some more token females next time.

Starting christmas I have a 5 day holiday. Purely unintentionally! Not sure if I'm going to take the whole thing though, a 29 hour work week is a lot of missed dollar bills that could be spent towards debt. Feelin' better about the whole break up thing (if you can call it that) though and generally just enjoying the season.
All that being said, it's getting pretty old sitting at home doing the same thing every day after work. I'll need to take my days off and try to do some new stuff.
Langly makes me happy. I feel like a slodge-pit and haven't been able to really eat in several days (pregnancy nausea is lame) so he prepared several meals for me in the hopes that one might be appealing. So, I have finally eaten some food and my tummy feels a little better. Plus, he got me gummy bears and they are really good. He is taking really great care of me.

Also reading this thread (with exception to cancerpony) is awesome. It's good to see people actually being awesome in this place rather than un-awesome.

And I have this cute tattooed boy laying on the couch, and we're looking forward to almost two years together. It's a nice feeling.
Seriously. According to our loved ones, my brother, my mother, and me are the world's hardest people to shop for. It's easy to get them gifts they'll like, but really good ones take time. He's getting a Jack Daniel's gift pack with two engraved shot glasses, the most recent Pearls Before Swine compilation, and volumes 2 and 3 of the Animaniacs. My mother is getting a statue made of ground-up sea-shells that's formed into a really beautiful lighthouse (woman has a thing about lighthouses, which is weird when you consider we're from very land-locked North Dakota), a recipe book, and painting supplies.
The brother's lady is getting bacon bandaids, a Christian book that I really enjoyed (though I'm not a person of that particular faith) called Velvet Elvis, and the two books of Bunny Suicides, because she hates bunnies and was delighted that such a thing existed when I mentioned it in passing.
The boy is getting a set of pulleys and a swivel (for suspension purposes), plus volume 2 of the Comic History of the Universe and Sense & Sensibility & Sea Monsters.
I'm very, very happy with what I've managed to find/afford this year.
I could get jack squat. I'm glad I managed to take care of them. Warm fuzzies.

I am feeling really good that I am finally officially on vacation, and that my co-teacher got me an awesomest present, because she is the most adorable person in the world.
I finished all of my Christmas shopping and have wrapped everything except some presents that will need shipping to the U.S. And I made my holiday biscotti and my trio cookies last night.
I'm actually having a kind of crap night for a lot of reasons, but these things are good things. It cannot be denied.
Especially the bit where I'm finally on vacation.

Oh God no. I mean, there are definitely different energies for each person, but the boy's experiences and mine are not sexual. The only way it really affects our relationship is that it makes us closer. I worry about those who turn to suspension to deal with any sort of sexual... anything.
Ha: Further fun fact. GIS on the same subject has the boy (albeit about 60 pounds heavier) on the second page doing an energy pull. Awesome.
