Blackberry storm turning on randomly

I'm not getting texts, phonecalls, or emails but my screen is turning on every minute or so and then fading back to black after 10 seconds. Do I have the phone on a wierd setting, app going screwy, or do I have to deal with the Verizon Store?

The Storm is a giant piece of shit. Get a new phone.

Blackberry has been having widely publicized outages for internet and mail.

I'm not disagreeing, but I still have a year on the contract.

I've seen an app do that. I forget what it was - some random crap - but it woke up to update a lot and killed my battery life. You can see what's running by hitting ALT and back.
