Kyle do you have that page from Excalibur #100 where Lockheed saves Pete Wisdom but goes "still 'ate yooo"?
EXCALIBUR #96:
EXCALIBUR #97:
Not a big fan of the Ellis Excalibur stuff though - I prefered the book under Claremont/Davis (or just Davis, later on).

I agree the Claremont/Davis stuff was the highlight of the series (because it was truly a fun book, even moreso than JLI), but I just liked Lockheed talking only to Wisdom and telling him he's going to die while Kitty thinks he's crazy.
That and Kurt went with a bald head and was extremely dry with his humor. Carey is really taking a shine to that version of Kurt in Legacy.

Nightwing is a ladies man, alright:
If Dick doesn't score with Batwoman (and if any straight dude could, it's Dick), it will be a complete sham, I tell you.
Batman has a sense of humor that doesn't need preptime:
And Sabretooth vs. Psylocke, round 2 (aka Boom-Boom made a boom-boom):
And then Loeb ruined it all right before Age of Apocalypse.
Which arcs did Loeb write? I can't even remember what was going on in the X-verse right before AoA. But I do remember it was a fucking shock to see Sabretooth being the coolest X-Man in AoA and Wolverine being the head case.

Loeb did the Wolverine stuff from around 85-100 something. His terrible arc with Bianchi basically carried on points he did from 15 years eariler.
Basically Wolverine in #89 or 90, right before that crystal wave that changed the world in Legion Quest (that lead into the AoA world), Wolverine and Sabretooth fought and Wolverine popped his claws right into Creed's brain, killing him before everyone died. And what it basically did was turn Creed bad again, as you see in those scans above.
And then in #100, Wolverine turns into an animal basically in order to save Cannonball. He was wearing a Raphael bandanna on his head and everything, and even had a face that looked more like a wolf or pig or something.

Ugh, you had to bring up ninja turtle logan didnt you?
Wasn't that during the whole Xorn thing too? I seem to recall a good guy Magneto during that period.
I have an irrational man-crush on Forge, because a few months after I started buying comics, in middle school (back when they were sold at Wal-mart!) I saw this:
(Too bad Fitzroy comes back and blows the place up right after that).

Oh shit, I remember that stuff. I'd quit reading the Wolverine solo series, but picked it up again when I heard all the hype for #75 when he lost the adamantium. That was back in the day when I only looked at the artists name and never paid attention to the writers - turns out Loeb has been ruining books for me longer than I thought.
That does remind me that I need to find and scan the Sabretooth vs Holocaust fight from Age of Apocalypse.
It's kind of a shame that Forge is probably off-limits for now, post-Ellis Astonishing.
I was thinking that I was the only person that I bothered to keep reading Ellis' Astonishing. But he's Forge, so he could have built a teleporter out of chewing gum and dental floss before he got blown up - he'll be back.

Yeah, they were quite a bit apart.

He might mean Joseph, clone of Magneto/Rogue love interest.

Joseph, Maggot, Celia Reyes (did she ever get a codename?), Marrow and Thunderbird (the one with laser hands) are the best team of X-Men ever. You're missing out.
Star Wars prequel jokes? Isn't that about as easy as the Sentry fighting D-Man? Come on, Deadpool.

See, it's Deadpool. He probably thinks Dane Cook is the funniest comedian ever.

What star wars prequel joke? That's no joke, man. He made a star wars reference and then the AIM guy said a terrible thing and was punished accordingly. This is no laughing matter.

Hey, that ad was done by a friend of mine. Cool!
Oh man, now I remember Sync. He was awesome.
well tell him i liked it!
Also, I'm digging Rogue's gigantic hair... she must have absorbed the power of a dozen 80's porn stars.
That's Joe Madueria art. His Banshee/Cyclops/Gambit were all basically the same character, +/- stubble, glasses, hair color.
And is the Claremont/Davis Excalibur in Essential format yet?
More fun with Roger (from BPRD - The Dead):
Then in the next issue:

That's what I was thinking as well but wasn't Joseph post-Onslaught?
Ahh, my bad. Most of everything before and during Onslaught is a blur to me anyway.
You're right, it was Joseph.
I've repressed a lot of memories from that era.

I hate how Marvel will resurrect Caliban for like the billionith time but won't resurrect Synch or Maggot.
