I love the Opfor guy. He puts such effort into his lines. OUR UAV IS ONLINE!!! Love it. Anytime I read one of the lines the commentators say in MW2 I read it in his voice. I read the title of this thread in his voice.
The one Multi voice I don't like is the navy seal player voice. He just sounds so goddamned bored. It's like a step above Microsoft Sam.

Am I the only one who is unsatisfied with the range on the SPAS? I tried using it the other day on highrise. At one point I came up through the tunnels behind C and stood behind the row of desks, and there was a sniper just on the other side of the C flag sniping. I could have easily semtexed him, but instead I whip out my spas-12 and scope on him. I fire a shot, and don't get a hit. I reload, take another shot, and hit nothing. At this point the sniper turns around and LOOKS at me. I take one more shot and again NOTHING. I get semtexed.
This happened multiple times and I put down the SPAS-12 and walked away. I felt that with the 1887's they finally fixed the range on shotguns and made them viable, they just should have made the range shorten when steady aiming them instead of quickscoping them. I love quickscoping my shotguns, and really wish that you got a real range and accuracy boost when doing so.

I noticed a huge range increase when scoping the SPAS but you have to be really aware of the where the damage drops to zero. I did almost the exact same thing as you but got off like 5 shots w no hit marker before the guy just turned and shot me. In my defense I was drunk. Oh and if you have a silencer on the thing it has almost no range

Man I got this for Christmas for the PS3 and I am horrible. Funny thing is I used to dominate or do at least decently in MW1 on my friends PS3. Guess its unlocks but I'm still not used to massive kill streaks. It seems every 5 seconds I am killed by some type of flying machine of sorts or missle. And I can't fucking unlock stinger missle for another 20 or so levels. :l

I'm in the middle of The Hornet's Nest right now. Just doing a level or two then playing multiplayer is how I've been getting through it.
M4A1 mastery get! Something else I noticed about the holo scope, its glare is the same color as your camo, so mine has a nice blue hue to it. Also the M4A1 needs more love in this thread.

Hell yeah! I think our different playing styles helped too. You did lots of running around and capping points while I switched between capping points and defending them. I think I lost count of how many times you topped the team charts. :P

I think I actually topped them each time we won, which was totally awesome. My total KDR is positive now which makes me happy.
Yeah I think the whole different playing styles helped out a bunch. I'd kill some dudes and cap a point, and you would kill dudes and prevent them from going to get points. Works out like a boss.
Edit: Also our teammates played the vital roles of bullet absorbtion, except for a few like carrervolunteer who helped out by detroying people's faces.

I surprisingly haven't gotten any hatemail for my witching/spray n pray builds, maybe chewed out in lobby but I wouldn't know, I have voice chat set to friends only.

only gun I have 500 headshots with, but I only play HC so it's not as frustrating as it can be in softcore

I'm leveling it up just because of my perfectionism and the extra xp... I do'nt really like it at all. The irons are decent but it has no accuracy at range and seems to take a much longer burst to kill someone than other full auto ARs i've used.
Then again it might just be the same thing that happened to me in MW1. I used the m4 for around 20 levels then when i finished leveling it i decided to do the M16 and after learning how to not suck with burst fire I went back to the M4 and found out I couldn't do it anymore/didn't like it anymore
It's very accurate and easy to handle with a decent clip size and high rate of fire. The irons aren't great, and at range you won't win any duels with ARs or an UMP, but it's awesome for running and gunning.
You can strafe around guys and fill them with lead shooting from the hip and get out of there without missing a beat. I've tried similar tactics with the MP5 and P90, but for some reason neither seems to handle as well as the mini uzi.
