Recently I've been having an annoying issue with certain parts of my face spazzing out and twitching randomly/noticeably. Most notably the left side of my left eyeball.

Not sure why this is, I don't drink caffiene on a regular basis or have any kind of latent psychosis (har har). It just gets annoying while trying to focus on a lecture.

I know you guys aren't doctors, but can anyone reccomend any sort of solution? Or a possible cause? I'm guessing its just my body doing its thing, but I suppose it never hurts to ask.

My legs twitch when i'm laying down, it's called restless leg syndrome. Maybe you have some form of that... only for you eye balls.

It sounds like you have a nervous tic. I had something similar to yours a few years back. My left eye would start randomly twitching and I couldn't get it to stop. After a few months it went away, but I'm not sure why.

EDIT: After reading the wiki, maybe it was this instead!

It could be a sign of tourettes ..... or just a sign of not enough rest...or too much sugar. In fact it could be one a million reasons, give it some time, and if doesnt stop soon, get it checked.

The wiki article you linked led me to a page on Fasciculation, which is exactly what my eyeball/lid is doing.

It seems I may be short of magnesium, as I got very sick over christmas and didn't eat much/crapped threw up anything I did. Either that or it could be the unconcious stress from moving into college, as it also mentions reducing stress in the treatment section of the article.

I'm pretty sure mine was stress related. I've have a few stress related problems come and go since then.

I periodically have the exact same problem. Left side of left eye twitching. Invariably it has been due to stress.

Sometimes I get incontrollable twitching in my left eye.

It happens when stupid people ask me stupid questions in my place of work.

It's just a spasm, I get them too. Sometimes in my eyelids, but sometimes in tiny muscles in my arms or legs. Nothing to worry about unless it's painful.

i had a constant eye twitch a while back, it was only while i was at sea, which was for a month at a time, and while at sea i was surrounded by people that i hated. I quit the job and it stopped.
