Hm. It sounds kinda interesting but what's kind of fun for me in the MvC games is that I know all the characters but for TvC it seems like I'd only recognize half the cast.
I remember i didn't really understand some of the systems in it, it's easy combos like the rest of the VS series, but the buttons are a different type of scheme now and it's got the Baroque system, which I still have no clue about.
Good games Passenger. Your Chun Li was infuriating and a blast to play against. As Sakura I rely on cr. HP a little bit too much and Chun definitely nullifies that.
I keep forgetting I own a Wii now that my brother moved back home.
So what is the up with Tatsunoku vs Capcom anyway? Like I know nothing about it.
It plays like MvC2. It might not let you call in you second character for an attack. I can't remember.
It also has a distinct lack of Samurai Pizza Cats.
That's all I know.
It's better then MVC2, simply because it lacks Marvel and it's scene. Ahhh marvel, or should I say "Mahvel", the reason I and all my friends stopped going to arcades completely and started our fight clubs off consoles in apartments.

That lag made me sad. Alejandro bad guy... is he from here? If so you must be very far away geographically from me, cause I 've never had that bad of a connection before.

I did not like the gameplay at all. And it split the capcom gamers.
When SF machines vanished for VS machines, that some of us didn't want to play, and the VS players started to suck people into their style, why go? There is no point, not that many people and I don't want to play the VS series.
It's far easier to stop going, grab all the people you know who want to play SF, grab sticks and chill out in the barracks/appartment and have a night of it, it's also far more fun, the comp is better as well.
So far all those reasons, we just quit quarter popping, had more fun, played the games we wanted, and didn't have to deal with the BS around that scene that really eclipsed the SF scene in terms of sheer stupidity.
Because of this I discovered superguns and how to play the arcade at home. Grabbing up old school neogeo stuff, it was GREAT.
I can safely say that the VS series, and Marvel in particular, is the reason all the people I played with quit arcades.
Hahahahahahhhahaha - for some reason extending it like that makes it absolutely hilarious to me.
hahahhaha dude for some reason I was geeking out laughin to this video too... I have no idea why, I think it's the replay of zangief's face while they spin and the guitar.
I just saw the new SSFIV trailer and it was pretty darn awesome. Some of the costumes/Ultras look kinda silly but none of that matters when I get to BEAT ALL OF YOU WITH DAN, DAN, DAN OF THE JUNGLE. WATCH OUT FOR THAT (AHHH) (OOOH) TREE!
I could not play Chun Li at all today : ( I should have stuck to Vega : ( But Rose surprisingly remains my most successful character to peform combos with! But she's the only non-charge character I really try to use since I don't even need to bother doing her shoryuken motion ever.
I lost to Raging Demon a bunch : ( I thought the jumping kick in the last match should have hit but I'm not sure if it didn't because it just couldn't have or because I didn't time it right, like all of my other jumping hard kicks... And I tried to jump downward with Vega that one time : (
I just got a much better look at the Famitsu images.
Alt costumes -
Ryu - It is the white gi top plus blue hakama bottom, with red shoulder straps.
Blanka - He is in Saikyo gear, the pink pants are obvious but his bracelets also have Saikyo written on them in Japanese. I can't tell because of the angle, but I think he is also wearing the pink gi top.
Cody - White t-shirt and jeans. The shirt is sleeveless and has two black stripes going down the side. It looks like he has a tattoo on his shoulder.
Dee Jay - Black shorts, looks like he's shirtless.
El Fuerte - Aztec warrior look
Ken - Cowboy western. Complete with the cowboy hat, jeans, and brown chaps.
Honda - Still don't know. He looks like Mr. Goodyear.
Fei Long - He's wearing a face mask, and a black or navy blue high-collar shirt with no sleeve, pants, and shoes. Its hard to see the whole thing cause Fuerte is on top of him. He looks a little like Nightwing.
Rose - Looks like an opera dress. She's also wearing a hat.
Dhalsim - Looks like an Indian chef, complete with the hat.
Also, Bison's new ultra - he's holding Cammy with one hand and just blasting through her with psycho power.
Event hubs calls it a te. They also have a pretty bad ass pic of a keychain that looks like a te stick that is also a hex driver for the te sticks... I want one
Dare I say the Fei alt costume is a nod to the green hornet?

Well i've been a fan of fighting games pretty much my entire life but I've not lived within 3 hours of a decent arcade for pretty much all of my life. SF IV is my first chance to get into things competitively so I can't quite commiserate.
Nice should be a sweet alt for fei. I assume those are twitter posts you are relaying? nevermind srk some how was a site I wasn't checking for info on... lol

You realize you just described it as "MvC only instead MvC", right?

marvel spandex is much more varied and interesting.

Here's hoping for a kick ass anti-air ultra for Abel, and a Raging Demon-esque ultra for Gouken.
The Raid
I'm still very very rusty with Fei Long on my TE, I could time pokes and rekkas so much easier with my controller.
Your chun is pretty good, she can be a real pain. As is your rose.
I hate grabs.
Was barely able to get any good matches tonight, though I may be on later.
so is it me or do those te sticks lack the angled side pieces?
They would if they were TE sticks. But they're not.
You are indeed.

Oh that's right I did see some cryptic Markman stuff about a new stick coming from madcatz guess these are them...
Sorry about not responding to your invite. I was caught up with some friends over. I only play on xbox btw.

This is going to be the best game in the universe.
Are the new characters just going to have the two costumes, then, or will they have three like everyone else?

But valid point I suppose.
Apparently.
