Hey all,
PAX East will be my first PAX and as such, I have very little idea of what to expect. That said, having used to live literally on the same block as the Hynes, I am quite familiar with the area.
Now, I've benefitted from the wisdom of others who have attended past PAXs, so I figured I should give back in what little way I can. To that end, anyone who has burning questions about the area or even Boston in general is welcome to ask questions.
That said, as I live in Boston, I won't be so knowledgeable about certain issues that are specific to those who are visiting the city. So, for example, I don't know too much about the hotels, how Boston is different from Tusla, Oklahoma, or whether the cops are more vigilant than cops from Maryland.
What I do know a bit about is where to eat, where ATMs are, how to get a cab, etc.
I acknowledge that there's already a PAX East Bible topic, but for those of you who are impatient or don't want their questions to be burried among all the other discussions, this might be your best bet of getting a quick answer to your question(s).
