I've also had Comcast for a really long time, the only issues I had with it were those maintenances at 3am when I would usually be online.. I imagine it just depends on the area you live in.

It was -such- a huge step up for us when we switched from Dial-up. . .

I'm unable to check the guild now (regardless if it's still inmaintenance), but any idea for our numbers within the guild? I know we're no close to the 600 character cap, but curious of the number of accounts we have. I know we have a handful of inactives until Cataclysm, but it would be nice to see how many new Beasts we can take ranging from my few alts to Soundwave's 10 80s.

I just hope I can get the 10-man speed kill achievements. Getting difficult to hit 5-digit cheevos outside of being in a 25-man balls to the wall harde mode guild. Then again if I weree in one I'd kill myself.

Last time I checked it was around 350. And there's plenty of year-old inactive to trim should the need arise.

So is Malygos actually a poorly-designed encounter or is this the usual case of a bunch of masturbating-to-gearscore, mouth-breathing fuckwits not being able to faceroll it so no one ever bothers to do it?

Phase 3 is what destroy PuGs. Being force to use a vehicle mechanic that only a handful of Loremasters would bother to learn on their own is not very good. While the mechanic itself isn't all that difficult (DPS spam 1 and hit 2 with 2-3 combo points, Healers sapm 3 and hit 4 with 3-4 combo points, everyone group up and follow the leader, use 5 if being targeted by Malygos) Teaching that to a herd of cats in a wet paper sack is a whole 'nother issue.

Yeah, phase 3 is stupid easy. In fact, if you just bind "/follow TANK" to a key, group up at the end of p2, and hit the follow bind as soon as you mount, everyone but the tank doesn't even have to worry about movement at all. None of the abilities require you to have Malygos in front of you. And the tank's just the guy who moves the pack, he's just DPS for this part.

Healers target themselves, build up combo points with 3 until they get five combo points, then hit 4.

DPS target Malygos, build up combo points with 1 until they get around three combo points, then hit 2.

Everyone needs to remember to try to save 25 energy at all times, and if you get targeted for Arcane Surge, hit 5 just before he casts (it's a three-second cast).

Long time lurker of the forums coming off a a couple month break and in search of a new guild home. Is Ravenholt an East coast server? I looked at C&Co but Pacific time would murder me and, well, they're dirty, dirty alliance.

Also, are there any level req's or alt leveling still going on? I'm considering rolling on the server from scratch just because leveling will give me something to do till Cata.

    Ravenholdt is in EST.

    We have a few rules:

    Must have a female tauren.
    Must have an engineer.
Must touch Shirly's Large Bear Bone or Bear Organ (preferably both).

EDIT: Oh, and Allyxia is to be referred to as "Marmar" in GChat.

My very first Outland dungeon was 3 DKs, a healer and me, but since then I've rarely run into more than one per group. Generally they tank, but I almost always have to tell them to use Frost Presence after pulling an epic aggro steal on the first pull or two.

I sent my plate and mail heirlooms over for my dorfadin, spacegoat DK and eventual worgen huntard. Then I did a faction change for good measure so I could send cash as well.

Is the Worgen guild on Lightninghoof supposed to primarily/only Worgen, or a just a good opportunity for all the Beasts to play Worgens together?

I'd like to get a head start on a Dwarf pally, which I might be more likely to play than an actual Worgen, mostly because I'll be more focused on a goblin and a level 80 by that point.

It is a going to be a play to play Worgen, but many have already started there without an official guild yet. You would be safe to Dwarf it up in most cases and I really can't see myself playing a Worgen either.

    It's worgen and dwarf.

The guild will be "Closers Only" translated into some language.

The roleplay is that we are an unsuccessful business from Gilneas.

The roleplay I was thinking is that we are a company that had extensive property interests in Tirasfal and the outskirts of Lordareon, and had just open up a new division in Ironforge to deal with our booming business.

Of course, then the Lordareon housing market crashed, was cursed with the affliction of undeath, and Gilneas was turned into freakin wolves.

The Ironforge branch had been doing successfully selling short-loans to gnomes at high interest rates. But now with gnomer reopening and the debts of Gilneas suddenly appearing, they are in the tank.

So roleplay either the fumbling bumbling salesman or the hardlined badass.
