Yeah, another one of these threads...
I was talking with someone at work about free indie games, and I told him about this one, but couldn't remember the name of it for the life of me.
It's a 2D side scrolling platformer, not too long, fairly recent. Simple cutesy graphics, but as you play the game, it gets pretty damn creepy later on. You can stand in certain spots and hit a button to change your surroundings a bit. The game gets creepier as you get deeper into those changed surroundings. If I remember correctly, the game is named after whatever button action that changes the surroundings. You get the "real" ending if you collect everything in the game to be collected.
