Sigh. The Eidos pack is calling to me but I already own half the games it includes: both Battlestations, both Deus Ex, all the Hitman games, Just Cause and Rogue Trooper. That just leaves Batman, 2 Tomb Raiders and a few other games that I might be interested in. If they had thrown in Tomb Raider: Anniversary as well, I think that would have made this decision easier.
Then there's the Aspyr complete pack, 10 games for $45 including Cryostasis, Men of War, Necrovision, Stubbs the Zombie and a few other lesser known titles. I know I could get Cryostasis over on Gamersgate for $6 or so and I already own Men of War so I'm not sure how much of a deal this pack really is.
It's fun. Really dumb AI, really janky overall, but I'm glad I spent $2 on it. Super satisfying getting a headshot from 90 meters, and have the camera follow the bullet all the way into the target's face. Taking gravity into account for longshots is pretty fun, as well.
I'm not going to buy another game until I've finished the ones I already have. If I have learned one thing about STEAM, it's that the great majority of games always are back on sale at some point or another.
$65 total. Still debating the Edios pack, but that'd push me well over 100, and I already have the hitman pack, and the tomb raider that was on a weekend sale. And played Batman and minininjas on consoles

I was hoping Fallout 3 GOTY was going to take a bigger dip, but that was a pipe dream. Considering the Witcher.
I wish there were more options for sorting the games you have other than installed/not installed and favorite. Now that I've got a couple of the giant packs I'd like to put some of the games I'll never play down on a lower list that isn't quite as cluttered, but oh well.
I spent about $80 during the sale, and I'm not sure my laptop will be able to run most of them, and I won't be back home with my desktop until June... whoops?

I just started a new game of Kotor now that it doesn't require dragging my xbox out the closet.
I forgot that I really did love this game, not just because it's star wars. good reason it's on of few games of it's length that I actually finished. not that it's super long.

Same. Flora's Fruit Farm is uncomfortably high on my games list.

under $50 by my count. pretty satisfied. all told it's about 30-35 games. id pack is crazy.
Ugh, is Witcher worth getting dangerously close to $0 in my bank account for a few hours before I deposit some more tomorrow?
I would also like to know about The Witcher. I've heard a lot of good things. I don't normally like a lot of WRPGs, but I actually found myself loving Dragon Age, so I'm eager to get a bit more into the genre. How's The Witcher hold up? How's the story? How's the world?

The story and the world are the best parts of The Witcher, and are similar in tone (if more prone to humor and gratuitous nudity) to Dragon Age's dark fantasy.
So Rainbow Six Vegas 2 any good? It will probably be single player only and i do enjoy squad based shooters but I've never played the original. i haven't really found a good squad based shooter that I've enjoyed probably since Rep Commando outside of the BIA series. I guess for $5 bucks how bad could it be really.

The first game is superior, but is also more expensive.
Rainbow Six Vegas 2 is quite good. The levels are kinda boring compared to the first game but they give you a nifty new customization menu to alter your appearance. I really enjoyed that. And uh, you can sprint now. Kinda weird they didn't have that in the first one.

I thought R6 Vegas 2 was quite fun, well worth $5.
I'm hoping that none of the games I want ran out of cd keys.

it was actually close to too easy when I did it on Normal
it must have been annoying before the patch though
I got it for $5 a while ago and it was worth that, but honestly I'm willing to put up with a lot of annoying bullshit for $5.
It was $5 a while back. Might get a similar discount for the PC release of the sequel.

"The cake is what?" is another good one.
I've been thinking the exact same thing. I bought a lot more during this sale than I had planned, but the prices were ridiculous. Thank you, Steam.
The only downside are the nightmares about my account getting fucked over and my games inaccessible...

DiRT 2 (Gift for Stormwatcher)
Surprising?
Is there anyway to get my $8 back? I would probably just spend it on more Steam games anyway.
