So more AiC is nice, but no Down in a Hole or Them Bones. Oh well.
I'm really regretting though having the "Download EVERY SONG NOW" attitude I had for like the first year or so of RB1. So many points wasted on songs I don't like or play. Points I could spend on songs I do want now.
You know, I usually play ranked guitar matches in RB2 just to use it as a random song picker.. but last night I went 1-9 and the 1 was someone that dropped out. I either get out-pathed or out-played (and it seemed to like to put TEH HARDEST SONGS EVAR up continously).
Everyone I played was 30 or above. I went from 24 to 23.
I used to drop in on "ScoreHero Nights" for ranked vocals play but I found that pretty much everything went down to out pathing someone. I guess it's to their credit since I don't really look up the paths anymore.
Recently did it on drums but, just like your experience, it became an endless sea of "Battery", "Panic Attack", "Painkiller", and other random impossible songs.
Pretty sure of it. I don't think it would have been an OXbox title because they would have known MS was going to just outright kill it once the 360 launched.
I used to work with a cat who was friends with somebody pretty high at Red Octane. They were planning on an oXbox version. Now, whether that was canceled due to expected lack of MS support, the lawsuit, or some other internal decision isn't something I ever heard. But I do know that they had intended an oXbox edition.
The more I think about it, I cannot wait to play Would? and No Excuses on drums tomorrow. That is gonna be so awesome. I'm hoping we get Over Now and Grind in the next pack. Heaven Beside You would be awesome too.
Nearly four months later, I get my wish.
Well, two out of three. Over Now belongs in this pack, dammit.
so.. I doubt ill ever play quickplay with random people again after last night.
I just go tthe game and Im already put off..
Not one, not two.. but 3 people over the course of like 5 rounds decided to not just complain, but to yell/scream/cuss me out because I didn't have 300 DLC songs like they did....
It gets better when you realise that they're pissed off because you don't have their 300 songs. As if with 800+ DLC and growing such a thing is realistic.
I dont have RB1 or Lego rockband unfortunately. I do however have like 31 DLC songs including the free ones already. Thats not bad for first day with the game IMO. (3rd now I guess)
Some people are just pricks about it. I myself have LRB but have yet to bother with the import process. I could include Track Packs on that list (which would include AC/DC) but there's no point. Some just expect that because they have spent $500 for RB DLC, that everybody else should too.
Holy shit. Good music in there already. Lots of speed metal too... ugh...
EDIT: It feels like homework now. Aside from the whole spectacle of being able to try out new songs, the review process is quite strict. It reminds me of homework. :P Also, I giggled like a little girl when my 360 found the song I was trying to send to it from my PC.
Where do they send the invites? Email message? PM on the forum?

I don't know if it's reasonable to expect people to have an LRB download
Especially since it sold incredibly poorly
I thought about editing and putting it last after DLC. It probably should be since in order to get 45 generally mediocre songs, you'd probably pay about $60 for an experience that's mostly forgettable.
But I'm sure there's a group of people out there who'll get upset if you don't have it for RB2.
EDIT:
Generally, the more expensive it is to obtain the songs, the less reasonable it is to expect others to have it. Which is probably why DLC goes last since that bill just keeps piling up.

We'll get to that once we've covered all the proper Dinosaur Jr. bases

Or maybe I shouldn't try to play it at night.

The first one I can't play and the second one I've only played like 3 times because it's so fucking annoying.
i'd like a 3-pack of selected stuff from III or bakesale almost as much as i'd like all of you're living all over me
and the scary thing is, I looked at that and I think "Jesus, that's horrible. I didn't even gold star it!"
...I really need to, like, get a job, or another hobby, or something.
I hear sex with women is pretty all right
But that means I'd have to leave the basement

I will even sing if I have to
Won't you pleeeeease, please help me?
You guys are my new best friends
I only need a couple of them now but I think a story mode run through could be fun anyways

That song is the most fun and everyone should get it.
Do... Re... Mi... So... Fa.... Do... Re.... Do...
Forget it...
See this guy? He's a smart guy and you should do what he says.
I have 549 Rock Band Drum and 305 Pro Drum FC's

I think 1/8th is a standard headphone jack size. I'm pretty sure the headsets are smaller.
But thanks for the tip. I'll know where to look the next time.

wtf?
WTB some PA friends to play with
Shout out here if you want to play with someone
The farther down on this list you go, the less reasonable your expectations become. Adjust your attitude accordingly.

Forget it...
Nobody has noticed yet <_<
We've skipped over all the country, Backspacer and a few other things.

EDIT: Wow, have to jump through a lot of hoops to get it going.
