Aside from getting Fortitude from a good friend, I solo'd 3 of the Hunter quest mobs (the Burning Steppes one was my favourite) and the fourth (Winterspring) I had help in that guild members ran around on mounts making sure other mobs stayed off me while I kited his ass across, like, half the damned zone.

Do those mobs still instantly kill anybody else who attacks them? The only one I ever see anymore is the one in Un'goro, and after I saw the post here about the guy who was whirlwinding on his warrior and caught her in it I gave her plenty of room.
I would kill for epic class quests that were actually hard. It could be like the Quel'Delar quest, only without the washing dirty clothes bit in what was supposed to be "an epic quest line".
I found the druid epic flappy quest pretty challenging, with those mobs you needed to take on in each specific form.
"Oh, you need to go caster for this guy. Hope you went to respec."

I took the "boomkin" one on as a Feral druid in spellpower gear. Wasn't easy, but after a couple tries I got him. And it wasn't "good" spellpower gear either, it was some mixed bag of greens I'd found on various characters while levelling and some blues nobody else had wanted on various instance runs. Maybe a Karazhan epic or two.

Man, I can only imagine how easy the Benediction quest would be at 60 today.
It is super easy, but you still have to know what to do (heal the villagers, remove diseases, aoe skeletons) to complete it. Did it recently just so I could have the staff again on my current priest.

Isn't it pretty easy to get the items to start it, too? From what I understand, you can buy one of the items on the AH, and the other drops every time from MC, right? Hop through MC with a couple friends.... easy-peasy?

What Hunter quest are you talking about? Where does it start?
The quest items that start the Priest/Hunter quests drops from Majordomo's chest in MC, and only one or the other (the Eye or the Leaf) drops at a time. RNG can screw you here if you're unlucky.
For the priest, the other item they need to start it (the Eye of Shadow) drops from elite demon mobs in southern Winterspring now, its relatively simple to farm it up without having to spend gold on it if you don't want to.

The second to last boss of MC drops either the priest or the hunter item.

Ditto.
And I did it with level 60 healing gear. We're talking 8 piece Stormrage (although, level 70 staff).
I think I failed the first try, but the second try went without too much trouble when I kept heals on myself.

First time I tried to do it some one else came up the little ramp which made the big boss demon guy spawn and kill me. Then I had to wait a while before I could try again.

The feral one was just stupid.
"oh by the way you need feral gear for this guy. don't have any? ain't that a bitch."
I have a rhok'delar, but the quest was a joke at 80. I 1 shot all the demons. Soloing onyxia for the sinew was the true test.
Argh, how long does it usually take to get an account back after it's been compromised? Today is the sixth day with no email/status update on the situation.

A couple of weeks, on average. And three or more isn't unheard of... might be time to go outside for a while.

What are some of your guys (or were) favourite quick Dalies to do while grinding for epic flying? It seems the only viable way for me to make money unless I grind up mining and then ever a epic flyer would make that all the better.
The reason I ask is because I am now in possession of the bronze drake (everyone passed... I ain't letting it go to waste!) and well I need epic flying to fly the damn thing!

Random dungeons are your best bet. 26g for the first, 13g each one after. Plus badges, (hopefully) enchanting mats, etc.

I had one of those sitting in my bags for a couple weeks before I could use it on my mage.
The random heroic a few times a day, and working on the argent tournament dailies were how I got the money I needed to buy swift flying on that character. (Doing the wintergrasp quests each week and using honor I got from that and from actually completing Wingergrasp to buy gems to sell in the AH also helped.)
I got seed of corruption and did an av on my warlock

I paid for my Warlock's Epic Flying by selling Tailoring cooldowns and Crusader Orbs in the time that I didn't need the Emblems and they sold for 500g+
Awesome, had my first truly failrandom. It was the Nexus and the tank had 23k health, compared to my 24k in cat form. He died on a trash pack and I bear tanked it, then he died very quickly on Commander Kolurg and I tried to bear tank it, but too many people were down and someone got feared into more trash. As we wiped, the tank decided that I should tank the rest of the dungeon and everyone else left.
Then I got Oculus with a surprisingly competent group and we destroyed it. The end!

23K health is fine for a heroic if you're uncrittable.

Judging by the rest of his post and not the second sentence, he wasn't exactly uncrittable.
I hate tanking while leveling. On the one hand, it's wonderful getting random instances 15 minutes earlier. But on the other hand, I still haven't reached the defense cap, and each level moves it further out of reach. Makes for rather interesting moments.

You can make a lot of money doing random dungeons, but only if you're a tank (or queuing with a tank), and only if you rarely wipe (otherwise you'll spend all your reward money on repair bills). If you're not a tank or good buddies with one, you'll have to do something else in between queue pops. Definitely do at least one per day for your two frost badges, though. And if you have no use for Triumph badges, you can turn them into epic gems. Another thing you can do to get a quick epic gem is to win Wintergrasp once per week and trade in the ~10,000 honor you get for an epic gem.
Do tournament dailies. If you're a champion, it's worth like 200g per full set of them. Plus while you're flying around doing them you can also do the King of the Mountain daily in Ymirheim, which is 13g for pressing the 3 key a couple times. If you're already revered or better with Sons of Hodir, you can do those daiiles, too, they're pretty good money and I don't know if very many people are even bothering to do them anymore, it's definitely not the PvP battlezone it used to be. The cooking daily is often very easy money, and the fishing one is potentially the most lucrative daily in the game depending on what you get in your sack of fishing treasures (though it might not be very quick depending on which one you get).
And actually, if you already have mining but still need to level it up, grinding it up might be on par or better with doing dailies, considering the prices of some of the low-level metals.

Solid advice by Charus, just some added points:
Finish up all Northrend zones. Quests at the level cap give more money than dailies and sometimes go faster. At least they aren't as boring.
Best money in dailies is definitely the Argent Tournament, followed by Hodir, just because there's tons of quests in one spot. The Ebon Blade dailies from the Shadow Vault aren't bad either and can be done after the Tournament stuff.
Then there's smaller dailies that are nice to combine with fishing: If you get the Monsterbelly fishing daily, fly to Moaki and do the daily there also. If you get Blood is Thicker, do the daily in Kaskala. If you get the Phantom Ghostfish, do the Oracle/Frenzyheart dailies. Those send you all over the zone, but you can mine or herb on the way, so it's not all bad.
Went on my daily random and it came up ToC. We got in and started jousting, but the stupid healer left his lance in the bank. A few people died but we did it with four...then the stupid healer finally showed up for the bosses and not only insisted we kill the warrior first, but said this:
We all stood around dumbfounded for a minute, waiting to see who who drop first, but we decided to go with it:
And when all was said and done, this was the result (me in second place):
We took down the champions the fastest I've ever seen. The only death was the mage on confessor, which our ret healer said was due to not using ice block.

I would be sooo all over that! again!

I'm betting that's the piece that accompanies the no doubt epic movie that'll play when Arthas goes down. I LOVE the Lich King's theme.
Wonderful piece of music.
Mind blowingly awesome.
Contest that Blizzard is doing.
I mean, on my 80's I'd absolutely love instant pops all the time but on my sub 80's the bit of time in between is nice.
Also, JC is awesome. A guy just gave me an epic gem as a tip for cutting his gem.
