But we don't even know how the Paragon/Renegade system works so I think you're kind of jumping the gun.

also, is there any reason why my mass effect cd key refuses to work with this free BDTS thing despite the fact that steam copied the cd key key into the clipboard so there is no possible way it's a typo

Is there anything about this proposed new game that blackdove likes? Every time something is mentioned, he picks it apart as horrible and shouldn't be done. Perhaps... just perhaps... this is not the game for him.

It's interesting how the Soldier actually has two exclusive skills, Concussion Shot and Adrenaline Rush. Assault Rifle Exclusivity on top of that. Plus the ammo is the gun form of Overload, Incinerate, and Cryo Blast.

I don't usually agree with BlackDove, but that doesn't mean he's necessarily wrong.
And whereas some folks are being cheeky in dismissing him, at least BD took the time to explain his objection in detail. I don't think there's any "strife" as he calls it, but I do see his point.

Assault Rifle Exclusivity? So only Soldiers can use assault rifles?
What BlackDove posted is completely reasonable. Geez.
Since negotiation skills are part of a tree with passive combat bonuses and specializations in ME2, for me at least, it's gone to being not much of an issue. I'd go up that tree anyway for the +damage and such.

That's a logical reading of "exclusivity", yes.
Given the neat things the other classes can do, it makes sense

Same in ME1, at least before bonus talents.
There could be the chance for other classes to if "Advanced Weapon Training" means learning an extra weapon. It could just as much be enhancing your favorite weapon you already have.
Wonder if they'll add in extra class specialisation like they did in ME1 after the Luna sidequest.
That's part of the combined passive combat bonuses/conversation skill tree. The last skill is choosing an evolution but instead of an ability, it's your specialization.
Give the Soldier class an Airstrike ability from the Normandy.
Cheers,
D.
Wouldn't that make it more of a Spacestrike?
That depends. We've seen that the Normandy is clearly capable of dropping the Mako from inside the atmosphere of a planet several times. Then again, I'm partial to both ideas of an airstrike or a spacestrike.
For some reason, when I first imagined thousands of reapers gathering over a planet and blocking out the sun, I thought of them bombarding the planet with their own cyberpoop.
The Digital Deluxe version is up on preorder on Impulse now it seems.
From Impulse:
The Mass Effect 2 Digital Deluxe Edition also comes with:
Collector Armor and Assault Rifle
Two bonus in-game items: advanced regeneration armor and a powerful shield-shredding assault rifle.
Incisor Rifle
Firing three shots with each pull of the trigger, the Incisor Rifle is designed to decimate shields before the enemy even realizes they have been hit.
Original Soundtrack
The Mass Effect 2 original soundtrack features 12 pieces spanning the entire Mass Effect 2 experience.
Digital Art Book
The art book contains 48 pages of stunning full color artwork including captions from the Mass Effect 2
team.
Digital Mass Effect Redemption #1 comic
Featuring a limited edition cover, this issue of Redemption is the first part of a four part series as Liara T’Soni embarks on a dangerous mission to find Commander Shepard.
Documentary Video
Featuring over 30 minutes of behind-the-scenes and making-of videos, the Mass Effect 2 documentary takes an exclusive look at how Mass Effect 2 was made.
Cerberus Network
Included in the Digital Deluxe of Mass Effect 2 is a code to granting access to additional bonus content via the in game Cerberus Network.
Seems like it comes with everything from the physical Collectors edition but in digital form plus the soundtrack. It's also only for US and Canada, on Impulse that is.
Did they have to get a frat boy to announce all their GameStop commercials? It just sounds silly and kajiggers up the coolness factor of that first half. Specially that "Power to the player" thing.

Some of the evolution choices were pretty straightforward but between an AoE Charge and a powerful single Slow-Mo Charge?
The best part about the AoE Charge is shouting 'OH YEAH!' every time you use it.
I'm going to be like Grunt in the CG trailer
I really hope my computer can run this well

Unless you can change class in NG+, the class diversity in this one will pretty much ensure I'll never use it.

I guess so. But that means Shepard has to be a Soldier.
Cause if you look at the box art, he's holding an assault rifle.

Because he's a....

Soldier.

Yeah, default Shepard was a soldier in ME1 also.

Orbital strike, one would assume.

The cutscene is a minute long though.
"Sir! The enemies are attacking from the sky!"
"Shit just got real."
So running up to someone and punching them in the face is better than what is essentially a teleportation ability?
Your choice I suppose.
I want you to think about what you just said.
I don't even know what it does. The color green is just lovely.
... My female Shepard is named Miranda.
I wonder if it will still let me import her. Like... hopefully there wont be a MirandaParadox.
The Division, Warframe (XB1)
GT: Tanith 6227
David "Anderson" Shepard
Ashley "Williams" Shepard
I even almost made Donnel "Udina" Shepard before I caught myself.
