I did ask him about the mansex, but we had to lay off any ME2 specifics including that for this session at EA's request. We're chatting again a week before the release though, and we'll have had the game by then so we're free to talk about ME2 stuff in detail then.
wow.. i just got some krogan heavy armour called "berserker X" from the pinnacle station dlc item generator, it makes wrex look like a reject from Too Human.

I've been reading over the ME2 review from Xbox Mag. and I noted that grenades are gone in place of the heavy weapons. Did anyone use the grenades from ME1 extensively? I always found myself misplacing them. I'd throw one and it would hit off my target.

Grenades have been useful in some situations but they are too inconsistent for me to depend on. Placing tech mines is so much better.

I often found myself using them in 'random badguy hideout #1439'. Just right there at the door choke point. Toss one, clear the entry way, work my way in. That's about it.
Why would you use grenades? Are you a soldier? Quit being a soldier.
*laughs* Heaven's no. I was an Infiltrator. I often would use Overload instead, but it was lolworthy to see a bunch of foes group up behind cover and suddenly discover what happens when a prox grenade goes off.

I used the grenades when I had them (wish there was a grenade dispenser like the medi-gel one). I preferred the high explosive upgrade. It was a great way to blow people out of cover.
Dunno if this has been mentioned anywhere else, so apologies if this is old news.
I was at CES, and at the Microsoft booth a couple of Bioware guys were showing off ME2. I asked them what kind of reward you'd get for finishing Mass Effect Galaxies (that iPhone game). They mentioned that a character from MEG would remember you and give you additional quests. He also noted that characters in the game would make reference to events that happened in the novel. Neat.
I REALLY wish there was an option to just go, "Yeah, you pschopathic nutcases who I wouldn't trust to run a piss up in a brewery can just go chill out wherever, I'll take my usual squad" and just drop all the new characters and use the ones from Mass Effect 1.
Seriously, I want my team of skilled agents which developed in the first one. We don't need any of these people, they are all worse than team members I already have.

Yes, going "urgh" is the most difficult part of a voice actor's job.
I like the Battlemaster skin for that stuff a hell of a lot better. A nice blue/black texture.
You're absolutely right Dash. They have to actually shoot them to get the performance. That's why they make so much money.

Edit: dammit Fatty yours is better.

Why is why I'm happy the heavy weapons will replace them in ME2. I'm sure one of them will amount to a grenade launcher.
The grenade launcher's been confirmed, actually.
Oh, well there you go. Excellent. Blackholes and Grenades. Already shaping up to be an excellent experience.
What class haven't they done a video for yet? The Solider?

Its amazing how much Gabe has progressed as an artist.
So you're saying we don't need to shoot Gabe to get the "urgh"s?

I'm actually holding off on any romances in Mass Effect 1... the perfect woman awaits in Mass Effect 2! *drool*
Having a romance in the first game doesn't stop you from having a completely different one in the sequel.
But technically, its not cheating if... they died right? Hmmm....
Holy fuck I would marry her.
Godspeed, Ironsides.
I don't see it.
I'll tell you what I did see in the video, though. She's wearing clothes!

And Tali and Garrus do return. You could just use them.
