By definition, Subject Zero would have gotten the very first biotic implant. The timing doesn't work.

Weren't the Biotic implants a variation built on Asari models. SuZe might have been part of that original project where they got the L2's working well enough. Unless she's older than she looks and has a horrific L1 in her. Which would explain a LOT. But logically should be part of Shepard's group with the L3. Or maybe a prototype L4. (Assuming that your Shep was Biotic.)

I don't remember the precise timeline, but I think biotics may have been discovered before the First Contact War.

Even if they weren't, the implants would need to be modified for human physiology.

There's no reason to believe "Subject Zero" means she got the first biotic implant, merely that she was the first subject in something. L1 implants are very weak and don't let their users do much of anything, as they were too old when implanted.

True, that was the reason why the L2 project started so young. By Shep's time they had worked out most the bugs. Maybe SuZe was one of the early L4 test subjects. Trying to build an uber Biotic on level with an Asari Matriarch can do.

Again, calling it now, Subject Zero is Rahna from Kaidan's old training program.
I hope not, it's bad enough that half the galaxy seems to know and run into each other in the Star Wars universe. Let's keep that shit out of Mass Effect a while more.

A scary prospect is that they performed full-body surgery to insert eezo nodes in all the best places, the way some krogan used to do it. That would really fuck with someone's head.

Well, you've already run into the man that got the BAaT training program shut down, the daughter of the head of the Migrant Fleet's Admiralty Board, the grand daughter of the man that surrendered to the turians in the First Contact War, and the son of what was one of the most powerful krogan warlords and who is an extremely rare battlemaster, at that.

Are you sure that shit isn't already there?

Of all the people in all the galaxy, Rahna had to walk into my Normandy.

It'd be a hell of a goddamn stretch.

And your character is a Spectre. It happens to them. The difference with Mass Effect is that Shep is in the know and just that good.

I believe every class except soldier can carry both Heavy Pistols and SMGs, with Hand Cannons I suppose being an SMG variant. Every time we've seen the soldier wheel, it shows one pistil and it appears to be the Heavy Pistol.

But Soldier has the Assault Rifle, so it's all good. The SMG basically acts as an AR-lite for the other classes.

The two pistols in the vid are the heavy pistol and the burst pistol. The burst pistol... I dunno, it neither looks nor functions like an SMG, really.

This. You earn buckets of extra XP this way.

And don't forget that you don't have to do all the work on foot; you can whittle down strong enemies (turrets, Armatures, etc) with the Mako's weapons, and then just pop out to deal the killing blow yourself. You'll get full XP.

It'll be tight, if you do. I think you get 50-60k for the last chunk of game, but Virmire is pretty profitable.

Virmire has all the nice armatures and colossi, which is formidable.

I reccomend you drop down on EVERY SINGLE PLANET before you go to Ilos, and read the topography of the map.

Where there's flat area? Thresher Maw is likely.

    Big XP for "out-of-mako" killing.

Only if you think you're gonna end up short tho.

Whittle down with the mako, when it has very very little health left, just snipe it or shoot it with a pistol or whatever your main weapon is.

edit: also the fact you only killed one is good, it means there are plenty out there.

Like I mentioned a couple pages ago, that video shows her in-game in both the beltstrap idiocy and something more resembling armour at different points. So it's likely an indicator that there'll be visual changes in their armour, at least.

Steam overlay is so cool. I'm playing Mass Effect right now while using the web browser to check the forums.

Anyways, my usual way of taking down thresher maws is to go about killing them normally with the mako, but once they're almost dead, I hop out to deliver the killing blow.

According to bioware forum denizens there's been developer confirmation that both outfits for Subzero are available ingame. Who knows whether you can toggle between them or if it's based on plot events.

Of course this is according to bioware forum denizens so, you know, grain of salt, or perhaps a giant boulder of salt depending on how you feel about those fuckers.
