I actually bought this game for my younger brother for Christmas, and he ended up loving it so much that now I would love to have a copy to play as well!
Listen children to a story written not that long ago
'bout a Khoo up on a mountain and the forum folk below
in each hand he grasped a game box, on his face a cutesy grin
on us now he posted thusly, "These are meant for you to win."
"So go ahead and post your replies to this contest topic, friends.
do it the name of free games, you'll be justified in the end
There won't be any restrictions, whether you're from Canada or USA
On the Monday morning after...two DS games fly away."
Every time I see it referred to as an M&M game I keep thinking it will be like a Warcraft-style version of Cool Spot for the ol' Sega Genesis.
Reds - Cheap infantry unit, easily mass produced, but just as easily consumed in battle. Requiring only chocolate and candy to produce.
Yellow - Peanut M&M. Slow moving, but heavily armored tank unit, used primarily to lay siege to opponent's based. Cannot be produced without access to a Nut Mine.
Blue - Almond M&M. Requires upgrading nut-mining for your Crisps and increased chocolate production. Higher armor than Yellow M&Ms but with a resulting lower melting point.
Green - Mint M&M. Faster scout unit, able to charm no more than two enemy units at a time, causing them to not attack. Low melting point, equally low damage output. Requires extra candy resources to maintain charm effect.
Orange - M&M Mini. Small in size, but produced in clusters rather than as individual candies. No combat abilities, but able to harvest from chocolate farms and nut mines, and plant candy trees.

Hero units from the commercials? I would play this game.

I think you've stumbled onto something here. Something amazing.

Except that the Orange M&M is the crispy M&M, with the puffed rice center and whom Patrick Warburton wants to eat. Even if it falls on the floor.
Edit: Please don't include me in the free game contest, as I've already bought this game (twice, actually - the first copy was stolen). The game is utterly fantastic, I'm currently on my second play-through, and I'm almost not upset at all that I had to pay $60 for it.

The innards of the Orange M&M are porous so they can take more strikes than the other M&Ms and still fight?

You're forgetting Black M&Ms. Dark chocolate variety. I suppose they'd be the heavy artillery. :P
Around work I'm getting the reputation of being that guy that is always first in line anytime there's free food around. That's because my philosophy is the best tasting kind of food, is the free kind.
I imagine it works much the same way with games, I've heard this game is awesome, therefore getting this game for free will up the already great amounts of pleasure I would have already gotten from it.
Also, I made the idiotic choice of having a new year's resolution to not buy nearly as many games (or any, if they aren't ridiculous Steam sales), and at some day this year to completely clear my backlog (nearly impossible). So in getting this game, it helps break my resolution, and further annoy my wife.

Except I believe that Crispy M&Ms have been discontinued. And the Minis would obviously be multiple colors.
This sounds like a Warcraft mod that needs to be made now.
And the Dark Chocolate M&Ms are the bad guys!
Regular Ms are the Alliance, with Dark being the Orcs, and Premium are the Protoss who don't need Candy to produce units, but they're all more expensive (since premium don't have the candy shell.)

You get to make fun of Canada too.
Why not?

Free games is free games.
I thought I had HL2 to give away as well but it's not showing as me having a gift copy.
Wait, I DO still have a gift copy of HL2.
And a trial pass for Warhammer, hehe, I want that referral pet.
