There's Logan International Airport which serves almost all airlines, even the ones you don't talk about at parties. So try HERE People have also recommended THIS SITE for cheap fares.
There's also Back Bay, South Station, and North Station which is where every bus and/or train comes into town. So try Amtrak, or Greyhound, the supposed $1 fared Megabus or for the more financially frugal and those willing to test fate and most likely a fire the Fung Wah bus
And if you're traveling by car, Find your own damn route.

First off, this is what it is not. IT IS NOT FUCKING SIBERIA IN THE MIDDLE OF A NOREASTER DURING THE LITTLE ICE AGE IN THE MIDST OF THE MOST BRUTAL COLD SNAP IN HISTORY
It maybe cold, but it may also be pleasant. Pack a warm coat and long sleeved shirts, but you don't need to pack as if you're Scott of the Antarctic. Much like the rest of the country, we do experience spring and since PAX East is at the end of March, almost April, it can get somewhat springy and warm. I would say temperatures will fall between 40s and the 60s. For fucks sake, it was 70 degrees here in the middle of December. With global climate shift it could be anything, but it's not like the Day After Tomorrow up here.

Also, there's this amazing site that allows you track weather almost instantaneously! Imagine! A site that actively and continually reports weather conditions as they happen, allowing you to successfully plan your trip! AMAZING
Where will I eat good food and imbibe in wonderful drink?
There are a shit-ton of restaurants around downtown Boston and in the nearby suburbs. All of which are easily accessed by foot or public transportation.
A block of the Hynes is Newbury Street with every ethnic food represented and awesome restaurants and bars. There's also the North End with more Italian restaurants than you could possibly hope to visit in a lifetime. And only a few have mob connections. There's also Harvard Square, Coolidge Corner, Allston, and Chinatown to serve your every need and dining pleasure.

Well there's plenty to see and do in the fine city of Boston.
You can see where the whole mess that ended with the Brits getting their asses stomped with The Freedom Trail where you can visit some of the most important sites in American history.
There's also the New England Aquarium and IMAX. They have seals!
Also whale watching tours nearby.
The Museum of Fine Art. Impressionists to wood block prints to Italian masters, shit son it has it all.
Duck Tours! Take a trip around the city and into the Charles River in an old WWII craft with strange people at the helm and learn a thing or two about the city. These are the original Duck Tours. Not those fucking copy cats in every other damn city in America.
Across the river, there's Cambridge. With plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants around Harvard and Central Square.
And fuck yeah Fenway. While the BoSox won't be playing until the following week against the goddamn Yankees, you can still go over and see one of the oldest and best ballparks in the nation. They even give tours. Oh and you can buy Butters a Red Sox hat and jersey while you're at it.
So yeah. WOO PAX EAST.
