[strike]You'll notice now that videos are also hosted on Gamerstube now (or are in the process of being uploaded). I know very little about this site and whether or not the videos will stay up there, but the streaming quality is better, though you don't have the ability to download the videos and have to put up with a somewhat ugly site + advertisements. So the choice is yours.[/strike]
Okay the mirror is Blip.tv now. Here's hoping it they don't get deleted.
That convertible you have, the Feltzer, is my third favorite car in the game behind the Comet(the car Brucie "gave" you) and the rusted out Virgo. Good choice!
Also, for part 19 - you can use the left mouse button to "blind fire" when you're behind cover. You don't need to use the right mouse button to get a lock on people to shoot. Also, the mouse wheel will let you zoom in with any weapon, not just the sniper rifle.
I figure out the blind fire eventually, but I actually didn't know the zooming thing, so I guess be prepared to see about a dozen more firefight missions where I don't do it, since I already have like 30 more videos recorded. Though I think I do pretty well, all things considered.
In fact, like I said in the opening post, expect me to fail on a lot of things even if they're obvious.
If it does, I haven't bothered to check for it. All the aiming I do is manually and by mouse. I do not use a gamepad. I should just buy a wired 360 controller now that I have a 360.
Hot damn, that was a nice jump off the bridge towards the start.
Also, that's exactly the suit I wore for pretty much the entire game after I could get it. I just really dig it because I called it the 47 suit, like Owensashi did.
That mission, though. I forgot how so many missions I hated were clumped so close together. Apparently, there's a boat for an easy escape around the port, there. Never found it or anything, but it always seemed like they tried to lure you away from it on purpose with the NOOSE agents.

When one's scrambling away from a S.W.A.T.-like team, usually it's land over sea when it comes to first thoughts on escape routes.
As for Niko's new suit, it looks nice but I tend to dig his original clothes more. What'd make it even better is if he kept those fingerless gloves seen in some of the early screenshots and trailers of the game.
Was it your first time being a part of a commentary? If so, I thought everyone did pretty well, except Adus, he's so quiet... :P
Yes. In fact, it was the LP Adus tried to get you on but I guess you were having technical difficulties.
I guess it actually wasn't so bad, watching it again. Maybe after 2 sets, we had loosened up a bit more. Still a lot of dead air though.
Yeah, I should have spoken up some more myself but I get so engrossed at what's happening on the screen when it comes to the plot sometimes. >.<; Maybe I should have watched the video beforehand but then again, a lot of times LPs like this work due to the spontaneous reactions to first time viewing.
Like I said before, I'd really prefer no one watch the videos beforehand. That really doesn't make the commentary any better.
I wasn't feeling too well that day so that's probably why I was kind of quiet.
I only watched one prior and it's where i made the driving instructor "BRAKE BRAKE BRAAAAAAKE" joke when you drove into the ocean.
Speaking of commentary, since I'm jumping on board this Friday for a couple sets should I make more jokes or make less informative quips about the game?
Edit: there should be a lock on, I know there's one on PC with the controller. Not sure on keyboard, though. Edit: I think it's Right click or disabled because of mouse aim. To touch on an earlier video, the right click free aim should allow you to throw grenades/molotovs as opposed to dropping them.
I forget, how did that video end? (I can't exactly check at the moment)
BTW I'm physically well and mentally thrashed but am in Texas. If you guys want, you can get me on Skype via phone and I can pretend I'm watching your video for commentary.

Adus + Motorcycle + Wheelie = Adus hits a car and [strike]eats the side of a building, landing on its awning.[/strike] slams against the surprisingly sturdy awning and dies.
Well, here's some good news for everyone with the possible exception of Adus.
It's good news because I really enjoy this game, but oh god, even more recording and editing. Assuming I LP them. I guess it depends on how enthusiastic people are after 60ish videos of me driving around poorly and failing missions.

Question. (This seemed to be the best thread for it, and I have lol'd more at the videos than I have at Daily Show recently, so...)
I'm gonna be getting a new computer relatively soon, and this thread has convinced me that GTAIV may well be worth picking up. I have heard that the PC controls aren't so good, but all I really want to know vis a vis control is: is the game set up to allow you to have a keyboard, mouse, wheel, and pedals at the same time, and you automagically switch when you get in and out of cars?
Because a) I have a desk that would be perfect for that and b) that would be, uh, kind of sweet.
If there's not, I have to start petioning Rockstar about the next expansion/DLC/whatever.

True, but the good thing about the DLCs is that each are tailored with slightly different gameplay. The Lost obviously has more of a focus on bikes as well as adding stuff like gang wars, grenade launchers, and mid-mission checkpoints. With The Ballad, we get base-jumping, champagne-drinking mini-games and shotguns with explosive shells.

I don't think you can do that, no. You either use the keyboard or an Xbox controller.
Pepsi is better, but Dr. Pepper is good (though not a cola)
And about Roman and Niko being cousins, I guess some people are just closer than others. They both came from shitty families, so maybe they found solace in one another growing up. Each was like the brother they never had.

You could potentially use something like joy2key to make your pedals and wheel work, but it's a pain in the ass to set up.

Well, the thing about that is, I didn't think it through entirely. I wouldn't want to fly a chopper with a racing wheel...
Wow. You have the rest of the game recorded already? Damn. Well, definitely looking forward to seeing them all get commentary. Must be...quite a bit left still.
Also, Drunk Niko is always funny to watch. Lots of laughs to be had in this set. The car punt was amazing.
Edit: Also, for the whole RC/River Cola thing? RC Cola stands for "Royal Crown" Cola. The more you know.

Oh well, I feel I blew my chance with the mic check situation anyways, just felt like I was being a pest after that.
All that said though, I know I am weird enough I could have been like a creepy Klyka substitute with a Canadian accent, so no where near as sexy. :P

You had to 100% the game within about of a month of it being released.
