Math - logarithm question

Hi, I have a logarithm problem that I manage to solve but not sure if it's right. It will be much appreciated if someone confirms this for me.

    well, 12log10 is 12 for a start, not 24.

    logx=12log2

    logx=log2^12

    x=2^12

    Indeed. One can also note that the problem becomes much easier (you get rid of the logarithms sooner) if you convert all your logs to base 2 at the start instead of base 10 (log base 2 of x is commonly abbreviated lg x).

    Oh my bad, I forgot to put the exponent 2 next to 10 for 12log10. I updated the image.
