    i think when i start playing my mage im just gonna be a dick to everyone

    I hope that you get another Mabari in the expansion and this one isn't half assed in terms of talents and equipment.

    I want to use Dog more but he is rather gimped in comparison to other party members. :( His best ability, Overwhelm, won't even work on some of the larger creatures in the game, like drakes and dragons and such. Which makes sense, but still takes away from a character who has already so little going for him.

    If I could design Dog, I would have included the following:

    1: Better equipment in terms of paints and collars, more on par with what shale wears - or exclusive Dog armor, to make up for the severe lacking of the other items.
    2: Make it so that anything Dog couldn't pin to the ground, likely due to size, he'd leap on top of and latch onto, biting and clawing for the duration of a normal Overwhelm.
    3: Dog-specific cinematic kills, like a pinning down/throat tear, latch on and shake neck break, or a leap up and throat tear against larger enemies.
    4: Way more party interaction and CG scenes involving Dog.
    5: Landsmeet spoilers:
    DOG VERSUS LOGHAIN! There's no way that Ser Barkus could be bought with a leftover ham bone. He'd had totally mauled Loghain to death then humped his corpse.

    I have successfully completed the game using only myself and the dog. Everyone else, when I HAD to have them in the party, was undertrained, under-equipped, and almost always dead.


    The Dog is truly the Alpha and Omega.

    ...as soon as you walk into the room where Kitty and the girl are, Dog immidiately attacks and chases Kitty until she changes into her demon form.
