The Drell in the Redemption comic has five fingers, the middle ones not glued together.
That means Thane actually fused his middle and ring fingers together. Hmmmm
Or it could just be an artistic oversight.
Maybe, but even if that wasn't there I would still guess that Thane did it to himself. Having fused middle fingers as a part of Drell biology would be really really dumbtarted.

Has anyone ever had problems with the AI of your buddies while on Feros? Sometimes my squadmates just decide "You know what? Let's just stand here. Forever." I have to give them orders to actually make them move.

I always wondered why the krogan, turians and quarians all have only three fingers and digitigrade feet. Is there supposed to be some evolutionary benefit to having three fingers instead of five?

Kaidan bugs out for me every single time.
Except he doesn't stand still. He charges enemies until he dies.

You think guys standing in one place for ever is bad, I was playing on Feros and my Wrex disappeared.
...not like "Where is Wrex trapped now," but "Why isn't Wrex's name on my HUD?" That's when quicksave saves the day since I can reload to a few minutes before.
man I guess I won't get to 60, then. I don't think I have the gumption for another insanity runthrough
You wouldn't have to do insane. I got from 50 to 59 on hardcore in a playthrough. And I got to 60 on Eden Prime, so it was pretty close.
Starting out at 56 -57 or whatever you end up shouldn't be a problem.
Yea, I only mentioned the difficulty because that was the only reason I can think of that the launchers would act the way they did. Sorry if I was misleading with that post.
I just hope that marksmanship+warp whoring won't end up being the strategy de jour for ME2.

I've heard that Kaidan is really buggy on Feros, but I can't remember the last time I took him there. Maybe never.
You know, at one point or another, nearly every squadmate has bugged for me on Feros. The only one who never has is Wrex. Everyone else stands around like a moron while I'm three rooms away fighting off some Krogan on Insanity.

That usually happens when they fall off of something and die in such a way that they can't stand back up and rejoin you.

Honestly I'm not sure how much I'm allowed to say which is why I'm not saying anything.
But here's a quote from casey back in June.
"We're not talking too much about it yet, in part because it's one of the things that's just gone in and we want to make sure that it's going to stay the way it is in the final game before we talk too much about it. But it's definitely a different design.
It's a similar idea, in that it's a vehicle about the size of the Mako that you can use to explore these really rough alien worlds. The difference is, it moves fundamentally differently from the first Mako, where now…it basically moves similar to the way your character moves. You can strafe from left to right, you can shoot wherever you want, it's easier to target enemies that are standing right in front of you or directly overhead, and it just navigates the terrain a lot better. "
I didn't look that hard so I'm not too sure what else we've said about it.
There's more to say, for instance why OXM would imply that there is not a vehicle, but without knowing what I'm allowed to say, I need to opt to say nothing.

Never had party bugs like that. I generally had to reload saves on Noveria because some bad guy would get phased into a wall or something by biotics.
Retribution is set in the universe fans know well from the video game and novel series—one in which humanity has explored the very farthest reaches of the universe, only to discover the ruthless Reapers, a race bent on extinguishing all organic life. One man is bent on discovering the Reapers' secrets, the mysterious Illusive Man, the leader of a pro-human, black ops group, Cerberus. And he's devised the perfect plan: implant a human subject with Reaper technology in order to study the enemy.
He also has the perfect test subject—Paul Grayson, an ex-Cerberus operative. Grayson betrayed Cerberus in order to save his daughter. So when Grayson is kidnapped and made the subject of Cerberus' evil experiments, the Illusive Man will finally have his revenge...

I've probably been beaten but... Does this confirm Thane as a love interest?
I for one would miss an exploration driving element in ME2 if it was missing. I don't know if you kids remember, but my favourite game of all time, Star Control 2 (now available for free as the Ur-Quan Masters), had a fantastic exploration mode. I loved being able to zoom around the galaxy, explore new worlds and mine them for minerals and biologicals so I could upgrade my ship and the lander itself.
I don't know, maybe the effort/reward ratio was somehow skewed in ME1, i.e. all you get is more money (and a little xp) and money wasn't exactly difficult to get a hold of. Also in SC2 the whole first part of the game is mining enough just to be able to upgrade your ship enough to not suck too much against drones, let alone real enemies, whereas in ME1 it was just, meh, can afford slightly better assault rifle. Just felt that the balance between exploration, reward for that exploration, and then the RPG element with the story planets wasn't quite right. Can't wait to see how they deal with it in ME2.

nice! any release dates?
i wonder if its set in-between me2 and 3.. the theory that the stuff in shep is reaper tech and this would seem to suggest its set before me2 and could lead into me2 more closely then the last book.. but unless this book is out within the next two weeks i cant see it happening.

nice, the cover of the new book mentions its a prequel! probably to me2, where as the last book would be an epilogue? i like that idea.. another book for an epilogue to me2 and then another prequel to me3 but maybe no book after that depending on the all bets are off choices.

Yeah. Ascension was a decent way to spend the afternoon and I like all the little tidbits of ME lore you can get.
Though something I always wondered is why Kahlee is said to look in her young 30s and Andersons looks like someone in his late 50s even though they're only like 10 years apart.

its mentioned in the books, kahlee is like mid 40's but looks mid 20's due to how awesome science is in the future, it goes into more detail tho and its a choice you can make, since humans in the the ME future can live much much longer then we do now, you can be 60 and and look in your 30's.
