[Aion] Pssst, you got any petals? Brilliant Aether?

I decided to break this away from the main Aion thread since there seems to be an overriding conversation on fort raids.

Anyways. Economics on Aion seem very similar to other MMOs with the broker serving as an Auction House, however, not playing other MMOs for quite some time I don't know if botting is still a big problem on those that have matured. It seems to be a bit of an issue when scraping together enough kinah to get some of the more expensive things in life (like Heart of Magic), though it seems that the issue is being addressed at some level.

What are you guys doing to gather cash? I use to do Aether Crystals and Gems, but the bots that are still operating seem to have brought the market down for that significantly. I am currently making cash off of Vinna Petals (Omblic would be the equivalent on the Asmodian side), which can only be found in enemy territory and drop rarely and so are unbottable, but I am going to be leveled out of Morheim rifts very soon. It seem like getting Brilliant Aether is chancy as it can only be found in gankzones. Anyone have ideas to raise large amounts of money in a short amount of time?

Besides crafting, I can't get my hands on the design for my second expert crafting item, which would grant me access to some of the more rare handicrafting forms (which will be very lucrative.)

If you are Elyos rifting over to Beluslan, gathering Brommel Petals seems to sell for a lot. I think I was there last night for over a good hour or so just gathering, even on our server where its Asmodian dominated, there was literally no one there except for some Templar so aptly named "Sassymangina" to disturb me.

Brommel doesn't sell anywhere near for the same price, its like 75k a pop. But I guess when you are leveled out of Morheim there is little choice.

Well; if you are Asmodian and gathering it to sell on your side, yeah, they aren't going to sell for much cause anyone can just walk up to a node and gather until they get it. But if you get some of the petals from enemy territory, those sell like hotcakes for pretty high prices on the broker. I'm sure for Asmodians, them rifting to Eltnen and gathering Omblic petals at the Mystic Springs sell for a lot.

As far as that screenshot goes; lets just say we captured an Asmodian, gagged and hogtied them down and did some unspeakable things to them :P. Just kidding, what it really was about was general disdain that some of my legion members had over this Elysean Council meeting that was gatecrashed by Asmodian members of the same server.

By the way; below is the situation on Triniel... so to the above posters who said something about the 19 billion Elyos Gank Squads... really?
