Of Webcams and Windows 7

So I had a Microsoft Lifecam VX3000 that was working okay in windows 7 x64. Then work gave me a new Logitech C600 thats much better in quality that I wanted to use.

Plugged it in, installed drivers, rebooted, and now neither will work. Both report they are already in use by another program, though I've killed everything I could process and service wise. Uninstalling them, only using one at a time, no matter what, they are both now completely worthless.

Are there any good tools for cleaning out windows 7 drivers and programs? I've even gone into safemode and removed all I could driver, program wise that I could find and still, they are borked.

I'm hoping I don't have to reinstall windows 7 at this point because that would be a huge pain in the ass, but I do need a cam for work if I'm working from home for a day.

Logitech support = LOLtastic with form letters that point to forum post that I referenced when sending in my help ticket.

Thanks for any help or suggestions.
