I have no idea if this is even possible. My mother bought me Under a Killing Moon (an old, old Access game that I love dearly) for Christmas from amazon.com's marketplace. However, she purchased the mac version by mistake. I don't have the heart to tell her she bought the wrong version, so I am wondering if there is any way to play a mac game on a PC?
EDIT: To clarify, I am not looking for illegal means to do so. I am not interested in the 'e' word. I am curious if it is possible, and how would I go about, to purchase a MAC OS system and then install it on my PC?
Different executables, so unless the two versions use the same data files and you can get the executables (unlikely through legal means), you're screwed.
You'd probably need a pre-OSX operating system to run Under a Killing Moon, which won't run on a PC no way no how. You'd probably be best trying to find a really old mac powerbook on eBay.
Or just find an old copy of Under a Killing Moon for the PC on eBay and not tell your mum you had to buy a second copy. Cheaper and easier to conceal than a second computer!

How old?
EDIT: The instruction book requires a Power Mac 6100 or faster and says nothing of the OS required.
I can say first hand that this is probably a lost cause. Actually, depending on how old it is, I don't think I would really bother figuring out how to get it working on a new mac. Just getting OS 9 stuff to work was a bitch on my laptop. I don't really think there is any sort of Virtual Mac, as the market would be tiny. You'd also have to find a version for OS 7 or 8. So... yeah, I'd pick up that second copy.
Check your local computer shops and see if you can find an old Power Mac 7500/100 or somewhere around there. These units are little workhorses that can be had for cheap (I have purchased working units for about $25). These and newer Power Macs are PCI enabled for easy upgrading, and can support a healthy amount of upgrades. It's more than enough to play your game, and if you want there are G3 upgrade chips from Sonnet that'll allow you to explore more into classic Apple fun.
Yeah, the only cross-platform Mac software I've ever seen was back in the Amiga days, and then only because they used the same type of CPU.
The "secretly buy the PC version" is probably the cheapest way to do what you want. Buying an old Mac (or finding one on the side of the road, as you can probably do with models of that age) will work, but I would think it's not worth the hassle unless you want to do something else with it.
