So theres this really great show on Cartoon Network called BATMAN: THE BRAVE AND THE BOLD

    I was so confused last night until
    Canary's mom started dying.

    Up till that point, the idea of two Canary's hadn't crossed my mind, so I was wondering how Canary wasn't old like the JSA. I figured they'd show a scene with the spear making her younger or something.

    This thread reminds me of our copy of Jem season 1&2 - haven't had a chance to watch that yet....I have a sneaking suspicion that Jem aged more like milk than wine.

    Most 80s cartoons definitely aged like milk. But most people refuse to see that through their rose colored nostalgia glasses.

    My son watches He-Man quite often - we bought the first two boxed sets for him - and it actually isn't that bad. Yes, it's goofy from time to time (especially the summary at the end with life lessons), but it's at least solid action for kids and Orko and Cringer are still funny to him. I would say He-Man and Voltron are the two 80's cartoons we've watched with him that have aged fairly well.

    We also watch a TON of Tom and Jerry - but that's more Looney Tunes type of ageless quality.

    I am confused as to where this came from. However, Toby was an awful Spider-man, and if there were justice in this world, he would have been impaled on something in a quasi-humorous manner.
