I was planning on being too occupied with my son to post anything about it, but my offspring decided to shoot out in to the world a few(5)weeks early. So here I am, stuck in Korea. Luckily my unit has some awesome people and have helped me bump up my leave and get on me on a flight out tomorrow.

Anyone else have an experience missing the birth of their child? For me its been pretty suck so far. :(

And for those that are curious
Name: John(Jack) Clinton Peterson (the middle name is mine, im not naming him after a president)

And it would be pretty odd for a military dude to name his kid after a president who flatly hated the military and gutted its spending.

I also have this thing where I think that parents shouldnt be able to name their kids names that are nicknames. Jenny-Jennifer Mike-Michael Chris-... you get the point

To uc4life: I just tossed out some porno names my buddies and I came up with; John "Jack" Clinton Peterson is such a goddamned manly name that I'm surprised he hasn't already had sex with a hot neo-natal nurse. Seriously dude, that name just says, "My cock is the mightiest thing you will ever experience, woman. Worship at the altar."

You're going to have trouble when he becomes a teenager.
