But what will happen to all the people working on Conan's show?
If Letterman's show got canceled there would be a lot of interns out on the street with no one fucking them

I would imagine Fox
Maybe CBS
Remember this was a few years ago
ABC, also, probably. They were sniffing around Jay Leno recently too, which may be part of the reason Kimmel hates him so much.
Probably
I was a bit suspicious of his
"ethical nobility"
well, and the fact that kimmel is a comedian, and all comedians apparently hate jay leno
the brilliant part of that all leno episode he did was how spot-on it was
Well, yeah but of all the people commenting the harshest words seem to have come from Letterman and Jimmy Kimmel and it's not surprising that they have their reasons that have nothing to do with Conan O'Brien
I would imagine Fox
Maybe CBS

More likely ABC than CBS. Dave's company owns both the Late Show and the Late Late Show. Not to mention that they produced Everybody Loves Raymond when it was on the air, which made a boatload of money for CBS. I guess they could piss Dave off for slightly better ratings over that one hour, but would that really be the most prudent thing to do?

Ahahaha, I loved where he said "If I use the 50/50, you're not going to reduce it to madrid and lisban, are you?"
Regis says no no no, the 50/50 is locked in.
Norm uses it, then bam.
Madrid and Lisban are left.

Of course not
It would be a horrible self-destructive decision on CBS's part
But that doesn't mean they're not going to talk
They could talk about all kinds of things that don't directly kick Letterman out but still set Conan up to replace him

apparently the first thing conan's people put on the table was that his staff would have to get ridiculous severance packages
and I imagine that he'd take most of them to whatever his next show is going to be

It could just be confirmation bias, but I'd be very surprised if the 50/50 wasn't rigged. So many times I've seen the host make the contestant admit which 2 options they're considering when the possibility of 50/50 is brought up, and then bam, neither of those are eliminated.
Oh man one of the protests was right in Chicago, my friends went up there to skate today...I totally should have gone and convinced them to swing a few block to the NBC building
God I hope everything works out with Conan's network switch. I wonder if cable would really be the right thing. It'd be a hit on ratings/income for him, but it might have more consistency at least. Just look at the Daily Show.
I can't say Conan going to Fox would be a great thing at all. Sure, I'd love to see him on TV period, but Fox's reputation for destroying great shows due to mixed ratings after they move the show's airtime and day almost weekly is widely known. Firefly and Family Guy, anyone?

Yeah, Conan's show is actually good
Besides Fox gave Magic Johnson a full year to try to make his show watchable
I'm fairly certain any contract they would give Conan would include having him on the air for at least that long
