    Diablo II and Warcraft III, after all these years those games still control their genres.

    Trading card games....I never learn, but then some of my favorite artists have done cards for magic and even World of Warcraft.

    You can build a really solid Grixis Control list, one of the up and coming control lists of the current meta game, for about 100 bucks.

    It could if you don't have a card to force one or both into Attack Position or remove them from the field.

    no
    you can still use traps and spells. there are monster effects that can clear the field.

    there's another card called Magician's Valkryia where if it's on the field you can't attack another spell caster type

    so if you play two
    you can't attack either of them

    but there's a lot

    and i mean a LOT

    of cards that can get around that

    fissure, torrential tribute, lightning vortex, black rose dragon

    these are off the top of my head

    Also I would say WH40K, but I never actually played it, I just painted space marines and tried to amass a playable army. Then by the time I did I was over it.

    That still seems kind of dumb, but that is why i stopped playing when i did. I realized it was hard to counter a first turn summoned skull when second turn just brought more crap to deal with. That and no one wanted to play with me because of the first turn summoned skull.

    yeah the thing about playing in real life is

    like all tcgs

    you have to get fucking lucky to get the cards you need to run your deck

    Yep. The thing about that group of cards is that they're all weak when it comes to level and attack power. You have to play them and their support cards pretty smart. Remembering what each card does in Attack and Defense Position helps too.
