If they didn't waste so much time at the beginning of this trying to get the Republicans on board and only focused on making themselves happy they would have been able to pass something good.

You have yet to explain how they could pass something good without 60 votes. That was the entire point of the compromises.

This site is the online archive that revealed the following discoveries:

Socialists in the USA originated the Nazi salute, robotic group-chanting to flags, Nazism, flag fanaticism, and the modern use of the swastika as "S" symbolism for "Socialism." http://rexcurry.net/swastika3swastika.jpg

Those historical facts explain the enormous size and scope of government today, the USA's growing police state, and its aggressive military socialism. They are reasons for massive reductions in government, taxation, spending, debt, and socialism.

Correct me if I am wrong, and I am serious here because I could very well be, but I was under the impression that the Democrats had a supermajority, sixty seats, in the Senate. Besides what I remember of the news I also remember people talking about it in previous threads and I am seeing stories now talking about their loss of their supermajority now that Brown has been elected.

Talking of the inevitability of politics. Looks like we're having a Hutton Report v2 over here. Colour me pissed, if not entirely unsuprised.

Still, the fact that Brown won't testify until after the elections is especially galling.
