    I am supposed to have seen a live "rock" performance by Friday and have written a 2 page paper about it but I have no idea where to go or what to see.

    I live in Columbus, OH

    I was looking at www.cringe.com but really I just want to find some band at a bar or something cheap/free because there is a Mushroomhead concert in a couple weeks I actually want to see and do not have money to see a fuckload of concerts.

    man i reaaaally want to see joanna newsom in march

    she has two shows in montreal and one in boston, but all are during the week and i have to teach at 8:30 am on most of those days and ugggh

    they'll probably sell out soon but dang i want to see her again

    it's such a frustrating song to get to also because i cannot skip it fast enough to get to fabulous muscles, which is one of my favorites by them

    yeah, her voice is definitely make or break

    which album/songs did you listen to?

    her voice on milk-eyed mender is a bit less accessible than on ys

    though i guess if you really didn't like one you probably wouldn't like the other regardless

    this is the only reason that album isn't one of my favorites

    he's gone more towards punk with each record i think

    i liked tyranny of distance the most, but each new album sounds less and less like it

    im with satansfingers on tyranny of distance being my favorite

    shake the sheets is the most well received and poppy album i think

    the last album was crazy with reggae song next to BOMB REPEAT BOMB. it had a lot of different styles in it i thought, for ted leo.

    really looking forward to seeing how the new one performs
