i like http://www.thesinglesjukebox.com and that covers a pretty broad range of stuff. intelligent critics talking about roughly a song a day. a fair bit of pop, but a fair bit of everything else too.
http://www.chromewaves.net/ chromewaves is a bit more indie-centric. a post a day that highlights one or two bands with upcoming albums or recent live shows and then includes links to a bunch of stories elsewhere.
i don't really keep up with electro, but i have a friend who does so i'll ask him what he reads later
tegan and sara are doing a small show here, but they never mentioned it on their twitter until they said tickets had just about sold out a few hours ago, and it was never posted on the venue/promoter's site. some bullshit.

I put off getting tickets for their show in atlanta until last night, when I found out they were sold out. The concert isn't even till the end of feb, and not many of the other shows sold out! The venue they were going to was a bit on the small side so I guess that's why.

Oh man a concert thread, EXCELLENT.
I saw GN'R a few weeks ago, excellent show. Played for three hours straight, played pretty much every song I wanted to hear, and the band was all on top of their playing. And Bubbles from Trailer Park Boys made an appearance.
Then last week I saw Airbourne, The Joe Perry Project, and Motley Crue. It was alright. Not amazing by any means but it was a good straightforward rock show.
March 6th I'm seeing Megadeth with special guests Testament and Exodus on their Rust in Peace 20th Anniversary Tour, I am pretty psyched to see that. They're playing Rust in Peace back to front which is awesome.

i don't really read them but they're uk-based and i'd imagine the uk and ireland have a bit more overlap in general music senses
