Bought an Xbox360 by accident...

And I have consequently ordered one game for it, namely Bayonetta.

Those of you who are devoted xbox360 chaps - what console-exclusives would you advise me getting? I have played gears 2 and halo 3, but other than that I have played no xbox360 exclusives.

Mass Effect (it's out for PC, but not sure u have one)
Mass Effect 2 (comes out on Tuesday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
    Fable II
Halo 3 if you're into FPS MP.
    L4D2 if you're into FPS Co-op.

That's off the top of my head.

If you enjoy fun and have a friend with a 360 I couldn't recommend Crackdown highly enough. It's cheap as hell nowadays and the funnest game in the world.

    In my opinion.

1-click buy on amazon when I was trying to close a firefox tab - closed the tab too fast afterwards to notice the new page loading :l

It was only £100, so I thought why not - I haven't played on a console since my 64!

About 800 for ones like Splosion Man (bargain), or 1200 for something like Shadow Complex, which is typically the most you'll pay. Also, look out for the regular Arcade deals (promoted on the Game Markeplace bar on the main menu), stuff can even go half-price sometimes.

I'm not sure if you mean 360 exclusives or console exclusives but Brutal Legend is an excellent RTS/action genre mix up, although i would only recommend a purchase i you're interested in the multi player, otherwise a rental will suffice. Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts and bolts was a steal at 40$ and you can now get it at half that price.

Oh, and if you have any interest in the 2d platformer genre, N+ is an absolute must.

Since you are from the UK, and you mentioned Gears of Wars 2, let me cross-post this from the UK bargain thread:

Sadly I completed it in one sitting at a friend's house, as it's a bit short and not very hard >.<

Is it worth picking up for multi?

I have to say Halo Wars was surprisingly fun, especially if you liked Starcraft. Forza is supposed to be good if you like racing cars or painting them.
Otherwise i'd recommend some arcade games like Castle Crashers, Geometry Wars 2, and Ikaruga (what? it technically counts).

XBLA is where it's at on the 360 exclusives at the moment. Particularly Rez HD, Geometry Wars, Shadow Complex and The Dishwasher: Dead Samurai. Dishwasher is so good. Imagine Devil May Cry and Ninja Gaiden smushed together in 2d. Then wonder quietly to yourself why you aren't playing it right fucking now.

Assuming you've missed out on most everything that's not on the PC, I have a much longer list for you.

edit: I forgot about Bionic Commando: Rearmed. I have no idea how. It's amazing.

Dead Rising is one of those unique games everyone should try and must be able to be had for a song these days.

[strike]Metal Zelda[/strike] Darksiders is my current squeeze and I'm loving it so very much.

On the arcade I echo praise for 'Splosion Man and Shadow Complex.

Also I <3'd New Prince of Persia but my glowing recommendation comes with the warning that other people seem to hate it just as strongly.

Assassin's Creed 2 if t isn't on PC, completely ignore the first game for your own health and sanity.
Rock Band 1 + 2 (buy 2 for the instruments, and rent or buy 1 for the extra songs)

    Rez HD

+ hopes of one day getting Metal Slug 7 like originally announced. If it wasn't region locked to the US I'd get Raiden IV too.
