In the Time Before (AOL circa 1993), I played a game called Neverwinter Nights. My handle was FFDrksun - FF for "Fighting First," the guild I belonged to at the time. Drksun because we could only use 8 letters.

On second thought, I'm somewhat ambivalent about going into a heavy faction game, and looking at the large reserve list, I'll !withdraw and let someone who's more enthusiastic about it play.

This is a place where the rivers breathe fire and the air smells of brimstone, where the hellish landscape stretches out infinitely in every direction, but where the very space around you is crushing you.
Hell is not for the faint of heart or the claustrophobic.
It is also not a place for fools.
The time has come once again for war. Not war as they know it in the mortal world, no. Of course not... it is not the way things are done in Hell. The wars of the underworld are far more subtle. The battles are fought not with armies, but with words. Knowledge is a more dangerous weapon than the sharpest sword or the most powerful gun... and ignorance even more dangerous than that.
The five topmost demon houses vie for control of Hell, fighting tooth and nail to get to the top. Lucifer, Abbaddon, Azathoth, Nurgle, and Loki, each desperately scratching for the throne of Hell. But, for what ends?
What will they accomplish by sitting on that infernal place of power?
In Hell? It will remain a guarantee that they will meet the same fate as the last king.
Welcome to the underworld, Demon... it is a place where lives are traded and treason is commonplace, and where battles are fought for the privilege of death.
Vote for one demon in BOLD RED for elimination each night. Top vote getter will be eliminated. In the event of a tie, the first person to reach the total will die.
Vote closes TOMORROW AT 9 o'clock PACIFIC. You have a lot of time to talk to the people noted in your PMs... use it wisely.
CLARIFICATION
If 2 Demons both try simultaneously to consume the essence of a third demon, both attempts will fail and the third demon will remain unconsumed
Should, for some ... inexplicable reason ... half of the players find themselves in an ... unfortunate situation ... by ... accident, no longer able to play.
