Keyboard missing keystrokes

So, my new gateway came with a new wired keyboard. When I was running Vista, it gave me no problems.

Since switching to W7, though, every once in a while keys will be bitches to me. I notice it mostly with keys such as S, E, D. I have not noticed it in TF2, but it does happen often. When a keystroke is missed, it will be typed as "missd" so the keys are all functioning except the one. If I press the button a couple times (usually on the third press) it will come back.

I do not thing this is a problem with the contacts, however, due to the newness of the keyboard and the sudden onset of symptoms.

Any ideas?

Perhaps look for a driver for said keyboard on Gateway's website?

No W7 drivers are listed, only vista drivers. I am under the impression I shouldn't install these.

Eh, either Vista or XP drivers should work fine. That's the beauty of W7.
