    Yeah, I know they already technically had a pearl rarity, but it was useless. Now it'll actually be a top-tier rarity.

    Which I guess raises a second question of whether you can go out into Knoxx-ville, snag some lvl 48-61 weapons including a pearlescent or two, and still use those back in the core game in co-op with folks who don't have the DLC.

    They'll probably patch the core game to be able to support guns from Knoxx. I mean, it'd be pretty pointless otherwise. Besides there's supposed to be a big-ass patch released to be released that, among other things, removes modded weapons. So I suppose it'd be in that.

    I'm in chat if anybody's interested in doing some multi... I have a Hunter and Siren that are at the very end of playthrough 2 that need to beat it and a Brick working his way through playthrough 2

    Fantastic, I haven't played Borderlands in a couple of weeks, and this is just the kick in the pants that I needed. I'm still trying to get my Siren to level 50 on the second playthrough.

    I really need to finish this game once. I played the hell out of it Day 1 in Co-Op, then tried Single Player and couldn't get that much into it past Level 15.

    If Borderlands asks you for activation CD Keys and fails 100% of the time, download the manual activation programs off the SecuRom website and run them in Windows XP compatibility mode as administrator.

    I found that out after an hour of trying with the CD key, 6 verifications, and tons of bitching in Kris's ear.

    edit: Dr. Ned still won't comply.

    Just picked up Zombie Island and Underdome Riot so I can get back into the game before General Knoxx comes out, because it looks awesome. I'm doing Zombie Island right now, and I'm enjoying myself, but I'm having a little trouble picking out targets because everything's the same colour-scheme. Also, everytime I headshot a zombie his brain falls out, and that's cool but it just litters the battlefield and when there's disembodied torsos crawling and puking at me, it makes it harder than it should be.

    I do like it a lot, though.

    You can use the brains for something later and they only come out when you crit a zombie (shoot em in the head!).

    God damn, at lvl 50 about 1/2 way through playthrough 2, Moxxi is god damned insane. Maybe as a lvl 50 with end of 3rd playthrough equipment...

    Attempting it with my lvl 30 Mordecai.

    Does the gear in New Haven not scale on a first playthrough?

    I can't find anything over level 22 in the chests at all and I'm level 32. I've been finding 28ish gear in other areas as I continue quests and such; but not new haven.
