My Wal-Mart is, somehow, the fucking security center of the universe and has yet to put out or go in the back to get me a pre-release copy
you and me both. I have to wrap up a pc run and then do a 360 run.
So is mine. I'm pretty glad though. If I could have gotten it early, I would not have put the time and love necessary for a perfect, canon run with my FemShep. I would have done it with a half assed character I would have always regretted in the long run.
Right now, I'm replaying that femshep to get the last four levels to 60. It may not matter too much, but I'm being pretty perfectionist in the "perfect" save here. We'll see how far my resolve goes as I try to get all the rare earths and shit again.
Perhaps more people are blacking out the game since they're more invested in the story of this game than the story of a brand new IP? Just spitballing here.
I completely agree, I think the 'thread a day' was more or less over wondering about the entire storyline/game, as it was pretty unknown, characters and histories unknown, and there werent really spoilers to give out, as no one knew shit in the first place.
Now, with ME2, if someone says 'blah blah happens to this person', or people come up with potential theories that might be true, people get all up in arms, so information is more tightly kept, and spoiler'd even less. Cuts down on posts.

Is anyone else irritated by the way Christina Norman pronounces 'adept'? She gets really close to one of the two accepted pronunciations only to get lazy halfway through and pronounce it 'a-dipt'.

How does ME2 stack up versus ME1 rpg-wise? My main concern from the first one was that some choices simply didn't make sense and that squad responses were pre-ordained which would lead to xenophobic ash saying things like "save the aliens!". Comparisons to deus ex?
