Would have been more convincing if you'd change the title of this post when you changed the thread title...
Still, very interesting. I wonder what the breakdown was on people who played it on the Wii/Gamecube was.
I was hoping Okami would make the top ten, but que sera sera.
Thanks a lot for doing this mcc. It's always really interesting not only seeing the surprises, but how people voted for what.
It had like eight last year.
It would've helped if anybody got to play it.
I'm pleasantly surprised at how high Brain Age scored.
I should probably play the new Zelda sometime soon.. :?
I'm pretty sure you couldn't, unless you wanted to be an ass with some kind of dynamic ip/proxy or dial up.
I doubt PA users do that kind of asshatery, though.
Edit: Unless you mean the numbers beside the games, which is actually a tally done with some magic formula.
That's true. DoW really surprised me. I was expecting CoH to be pretty high, but not the second expansion to DoW.
That's awesome that Defcon made it up there, though I wonder who the two people were that voted for it as #1.
Boo for Okami just shy.
You could vote twice by just clicking the link again I believe.
Yea, I haven't finished it yet, but it seems like it should be GOTY. You know Zelda wins GOTY for no reason though.
With 923 ballots not breaking 300 #1 votes on one item, even if someone did vote multiple times it doesn't seem to have had any sort of impact.
503 total votes for TP
366 total for GoW
Either a lot more people played TP than GoW (probable considering the gcn), or people just voted for Zelda because it was Zelda.
Like me, I'm sure a lot of people haven't even played GoW yet, however good it may be.
There were mechanisms in place to deal with stuffing.
I'm just saying. I don't even care if someone voted multiple times. This isn't a president, it's videogames.
It was a poll of our opinions, no need for bullshit like megaman001 is trying to start.
edit: I see what you're saying, I was confused. I shouldn't assume people like me played both but didn't vote for one of the other at all.
Right. The numbers were just to posit a reason why, despite a lot of people saying GoW was the goty, Zelda won out.
I'd be able to vote for the first pheonix wright game!

So europe hasn't even gotten the first one when the second one is on the horizon for NA? Interesting.
It looks like all of 10 people did.
I only got up to twelve.
