So I have Sprint, and a pretty shitty phone. I would like to cancel my contract without the early termination fees.
After doing some reading online, it turns out that when Sprint updates its terms of service, you have exactly one month to cancel your contract (as long as you specifically reference the change when you call to cancel) and you won't have to pay the fees.
I am having some trouble finding the date of when they last updated their terms of service, though...can anyone tell me when/how to find it?
I thought this only implied if the CoS specifically changed in some way that was detrimental for you (ie, restricting how you can use your minutes, assesing extra fees, etc). Is that not the case?

I think so. In this case, Sprint is raising the regulatory fees by like $0.10/mo or something so they have to let everyone out of their ETF if they're leaving for that reason.
