I played against a clan for a couple of games last night. Their whole team was part of a clan, my team was entirely pubbies. I was thinking of just leaving, but decided to stick it out for at least one game. Domination on rundown, their entire team was noobtubing.
I went 34-4, someone on my team went 36-2, and at the end of the match, they quit the lobby. I've never seen such a bad team, even when it was entirely pubbies, let alone a team that knows and communicates with each other. Hilarious.
Just because they have clan tags, doesn't necessarily mean they are good.
Me and some buddies play with the tag [YaOk] (because thats what you say when you get sniped across the map with a pistol) and we are average at best.

I got into it with a clan a little bit ago. They all started coming after me. So I started laying down claymores in my old spot then moving away a little wait for 1 or 2 to die from them then mowed down the rest, rinse and repeat. my k/d by the end of the game 24-4
Man, I miss the War gametype from [email protected], that was some fun stuff.

I never did get WatW...Is it worth picking up (I hear zombies is worth it)? I could get it pretty cheap nowadays (on goozex), but I'd need some people to shoot zombies with.
Edit: Ooh, and I just read there is co-op campaign! I'm all about that.
Most people around here don't like it, I did like the multiplayer (loves me some bolt actions, and I was a beast in a tank)
Zombies is fairly fun, but tends to wear thin. Can't say how many people still play, and keep in mind the basic Zombie map that ships with the game is fairly straightforward and basic, they get better in the map packs (which you still have to pay for AFAIK)
Just got my first non care package chopper gunner. Felt good man. Playing half campy/defensively really paid off. It was great too because I got all of the 11 kills myself! I got 5, predator hit no one. Okay. Killed 2 more, got harriers, airstrike didn't kill anyone and someone stinger'd the harrier on its way in. So, got the last 4 kills, and whipped out the chopper gunner. Got a decent 10 to 15 kills with it before it eventually got shot down.
I'm a devout member of the Church, but recently I've had a possibly heretical question.
Should I swap the SPAS-12 on my sniper build with some something that draws faster, like a pistol or akimbo glocks? The time it takes to swap to/from the SPAS has cost me several deaths recently, but I wonder if I'm merely not swapping early enough.

Sev: Your gameplay is the most heavily yomi based around. Usually you look for characters that allow you to force guessing situations for big dmg. Even if the guess is mathematically nowhere near in your favor lol. You're happiest when you have either a 50/50, 33/33/33 or even a 75/25 situation to go crazy with. And you will take big risks to force those situations to come up.

akimbo M93's.
Edit: Or 1 PP2000, since it is the best SMG in the game, and somehow it counts as a machine pistol instead of a SMG.
I played a game of sabotage against 4 infinite care package glitchers on quarry. They were getting huge amounts of kill streaks, but they kept dropping them right at their spawn (down by A, in plain sight, viewable from the top of the ramp). They didn't quite realize that I was getting MORE killstreaks by using my javelin and noob tubes with danger close and scavenging off my team mates corpses.
I think I got 5 chopper gunners that round. Every predator missile was a guaranteed 3 kills.. And all they had to do to prevent that was to move out of the way.
You know when the infinite care package glitchers are really special people deep down inside. When they are tired of getting kill streaks and decided to run around walrus/badger style the rest of the match. Takes a special type of goose to pull that off.
Yea honestly if i'm playing with a group of PA people(which I enjoy than any other pub) and some decide to quit mid-match due to crazy goosing(yea I made it up, sue me!) around then I honestly dont blame them. Some matches that could easily be won turn into a chore now and I usually go negative trying to force respawn new stinger missles. Anyways I still have some good demolition matches going with the PA group it's rather fun just locking down situations and knowing when to spread the support between bomb points.
Hiryu- Usually with my sniper classes I stick with a tac knife on a M9 because the only time I like to give my spot away is when I shoot with my rifle but thats just me. Some others play a more aggresive style.
Sanguine....SPEC OPS! Yea i'm never gonna drop this.

Yeah, I play a rush sniper build. I never shoot less than 4 bullets when I try to kill someone with a sniper, unless I actually set-up in a spot (only happens on wasteland/very rarely underpass)
But this is mostly because I play MW2 the same way I play MW1. Which means running full speed with an M21 and capping all the silly gooses with 1 or 2 bullets because they draw their guns way too slow.

Yeah, those care packers today were total blowhards. The part I find funny is that even doing that, they only beat us (TDM) by a couple thousand points, not ridiculous kind of shutout. Of all the premades to go against, a PA one is their worst nightmare.

Doesn't mean that they're good, but it means they're probably putting in more effort and also working together better. Of course, this time was an exception.
Why did nobody tell me earlier how good the UMP is? I just tried it out on domination and absolutely destroyed everyone. 45-5, and almost all of those were bullet kills. After 3 games I've got the FMJ unlocked, which seems kinda ridiculous.

I think the weapon damage charts are in the OP.[/snark]
Those charts really should include fire rate in them.
Just got done playing in the first game where I saw the care package nuke thing. Sure enough, every care package (not just the host's) were nukes. Taking a break until this is patched. Maybe. At least it being a nuke the round was over quick and I switched lobbies.

Well, I could see the different damages, but it didn't tell me that it's got pretty good irons, good fire rate, big enough mag, and pretty accurate (unless you try sniping with it on full auto on derail, that didn't end well). It's working a lot better for me in short ranges than my favourite ARs, and well enough at range that I'm gunning down AR and LMG users 50m away.
There isn't a list of PSN people working together to demolish everyone else?
My brother and his pals wreck everyones shit all the time. I think the majority of people on PS3 suck because he absolutely dominates every single game. And I can keep up with him one on one easily and I rarely ever use a controller for that game.

Haha, yeah me and my rooommate Jordan, or as he is sometimes known "Bizarro Brutletoy", played at a friends house on his PS3 and we wrecked shit for like 5 games straight when we were pretty drunk/crunk. (Yeah, I said crunk. Wanna fight about it?) Dunno it this was some accurate sampling, or just some crazy ass drunk games we played, but man those PS3 guys....I tell you what.

They suck. I played on 360 once too and did pretty damn good. I think it's because most people that have it on 360 or PS3 tend to be more average people that don't sink a ton of time into the game. Casual people. The PC crowd tends to be more serious players and I don't do as well then. Although I have been killing lately. L86 + MP5K

So, about half of all the games I played tonight have a infinite CP/EAD glitcher in them. I think I'm gonna take a break for a while. Until IW decides the abuse is "rampant" enough to patch.

This rant has been brought to you by the good people at Ender Co., frustrated by care package glitchers since 1907.
Is the game really that broken that people aren't more upset about this nuke/CP thing?
At least on the PC it potentially renders the game unplayable. Matches would be over in less than 3-5 minutes.
Vast majority in this thread is 360.
So, no, most of us don't care.
Sorry.
360 as well, I just feel bad for the PC guys.
I think most of us PC guys stepped back, realized we had other games we could play that didn't involve having trouble with the game even allowing a group of people to stay together for more than a couple matches (and, ya know, the glitchers) and said "Fuck this".
I haven't seen people playing MW2 on the PA vent in quite awhile.
Edit: Of course I went on to Borderlands which has it's own set of connection issues with the multiplayer. But at least when I get into a game with someone I don't have to worry about them being mysteriously kicked :P
Riot Shield / .44 Magnum + Marathon Pro/Lightweight Pro/Ninja Pro = Annoying the shit out of camping ACR/Heartbeat idiots in HC. Especially fun when you hit them from across the map and they fill chat with "FUCKING 44 MAGNUM BULLSHIT HACKER"

I join up with CommunistCow and some other guys pretty regularly. We don't have a problem staying together for a few hours at a time. We also usually do pretty good and run into few hackers.
So I tried the grip on the Spas and I think I actually did worse with that than the red dot or just hip firing. I've finally gotten the holo and seem to do reasonably well with that. Has anyone else experienced this problem? (Not that it really matters now that I have the holo I'm just kind of curious).
The other night with the grip I fired at a guy 3 times who was not moving from about 10-15 feet away and he just didn't die. I then proceeded to do the same thing a second time that round. I swear the guy was made of unobtainium. I've hip fired the spas from the same distance and gotten relatively consistent kills.
HC is friken awesome IMO since you have to be quicker and more thought out in your play style. Its nice having a game where I can go back and forth between "arcade mode" and "semi-realistic mode"

No, I am not really communist. Yes, it is weird that I use this name.
Has it been confirmed positively or negatively whether the holo sight tightens the spread on the SPAS-12 like it does for the M16, or is that still unverified rumor?

I did the wall test with the SPAS similar to the one done with the m16. Sadly I couldn't do it with OMA since it was a secondary weapon. It didn't seem like the holo really did much of anything assuming that the bullet marks on the wall are accurate depiction of spread and not just random crap. Honestly it looked like hip firing with steady aim gave me a tighter spread than ADS with the holo.

Exactly. W/L stat is trash. F2000 should be able to akimbo. Hip firing is the only acceptable way to play with it.
