    My problem is that all alcohol, no matter what the quality, no matter how well mixed, still tastes like poison to me. Beer causes a legitimate medical emergency. Even a frozen drink with a small amount of rum taste like strawberries and cream and poison. I can't even be a girl drink drunk.

    totally ripping Pat Benatar and The Best Of Blondie to my computer for my uncle.

    this is the cost of having full access to his collection for anything I want.

    that's after I get through the 75 or so discs he wants on his ipod.

    but I get the beatles remastered collection in mono out of it which is worth the cost.

    usually with the speaker it's more about where they're getting plugged into... either they're the same or they're color coded and you should look at the woofer.

    I assume these are the kind of speakers where one has a power brick and cable with a 3.5mm male connector on the end and the other speaker attaches to the first via a wire that cannot be disconnected.

    Well, I dunno, maybe I'm being silly.

    These are PC speakers that plug into the headphone jack in my CPU. I assumed that there was a difference in speakers so that, for example, if I'm playing a game, and someone's shooting off to my left, the shots would be heard louder in my left speaker so I'd know where they were coming from.

    Is that incorrect?

    Yeah, one of them is definitely a left and one is definitely a right.

    Here's what you do.

    Go into your sound settings shit and turn the balance all the way to the left or right and then test the sound and see which speaker the sound comes out of.

    Edit: Actually what operating system are you on, 'cuz Windows 7 does a test which plays a sound in the left and then plays one in the right.

    I have similar logitech speakers. My L and R were really cunningly hidden on the back. Look on the back, look harder.

    Also the one with the plug (As opposed to the tethered speaker) is probably the right one.

    I did it the first way you said (I'm running XP) and I have them set up wrong.

    Despite the fact that every picture on the internet, on the box, and the way they were set up in the store have them in this configuration.
