After a bit of searching, this place sells a slim HDD enclosure: http://www.excheap.com/product_info.php?products_id=4332 and the old hard drives work with the slim, so you could just take apart the old HDD and put it in that and use it with the Xbox S.
9th volume comes out later this year, I think. It's like someone took cuteness and comedy, juiced it, then let it reduce on the stove for three days. The resulting syrup of concentrated hilarious adorability is Yotsuba&.

I hear it described as Family Circus only good. I don't like that comparison though, it leaves a funny taste in my mouth.
To my knowledge the cable is identical, and I can't see why they'd change it anyway, as I'm sure they've got a shitload of the things already produced.

Will they require a hard drive with an elite trade-in?

A few days ago I went on a Jason Statham kick, apparently.
It's also nice that they both came with Digital Copies. Not like I ever actually need to sit and watch a movie on my iPod, but it makes me all giddy for some reason that I can.
they DO however, require the back of a controller before accepting the controller, AND require that you trade in a controller before accepting the 360
so because I didn't have some cheap POS piece of plastic on the back of my controller they didn't accept the trade!
aggravating!
Shit I'll send you one of mine. The little battery compartment that no one uses?
Wait, what's wrong with the battery compartment? Slip a couple AA eneloops in there and you have rechargable power without buying the silly battery pack.
Why? Uhhhhhh I don't know. I felt like playing through the game again but I wanted to see the new stuff. My japanese is very sparse though, so I imagine I'll get lost at parts. Oh well, at least I can use it as reading practice and to get an ear for it. Not so much grammar however. I also won't be buying any costumes, that shit is INSANE. There's like 6 packs of them and they sell them by individual character for 300 yen. There's about 9 characters, although I think Repede doesn't have as many outfits. Also one pack is the Abyss costumes and that's just Luke/Asch for Yuri and Tear for Estelle.
Oh and this isn't a first print run, so there's no comic on the back of the cover for me to take a picture of. I would've if it was.
I'm still a bit peeved that Vesperia for PS3 wasn't localized. How can there not be a market here for it? Or how can it be there perception that there isn't? Did it do so badly on 360 in NA?

Compared to what Namco wanted yes, it did terribly. Namco wanted Vesperia to do amazingly because of all the effort they put into it for the localization. They don't seem to realize though that because of their shitty treatment of the series in the past it made people somewhat skeptical, and they released it on a system that at the time only had two other JRPGs that were actually decent. The 360 was not the system to release it on, but apparently they didn't care at either branch.

Naw. ToV did decent on the 360, not great but decent. And the PS3 version was recorded as having the best first week for a Tales game in Japan.
It is just that Namco is a horrible company and have no idea how to market their products correctly.

I recently picked this up for the 360, I would have prefered the PS3 version if it wasn't in Japanese.
Also, I just picked up the 360 of Eternal Sonata from HMV, if I had known there was a PS3 version of it, I would have bought it instead. (Also picked up Contact for the DS).
I just got POP Forgotten Sands for £10 (Zavvi have it on sale). POP 2008 didn't grab me (combat is horrible and I am not big on collectathons) but I hope this does.

You may. I was really, really disappointed with Forgotten Sands.
It's like the same platforming we've been playing since 2003, but for some reason this time it's totally boring (towards they end they throw a bunch of new mechanics at you, and then the platforming picks up), the combat is still shitty and it's got the worst story of any PoP game I've ever played.
Oh, and the Worst Ending Ever.
But it's still Sands-style platforming. And that's better than a kick in the teeth.

Oh that's a pity It looked really good in the ign video review I found on youtube.
You've almost talked me into cancelling my order! Maybe it's best to wait for the trilogy hd classics pack instead...

Can you return the xbox eternal sonata? Cause seriously, there is no fucking comparison. The Ps3 version has like.... 5 more hours of storyline and the story that was in the xbox version is cleared up and makes sense (especially what the fuck the second to final boss was).
It also has the dumbest alternate outfits ever. It's only for two characters I think, and it's just a palette swap of the outfit they already have. Now Polka is in a black dress! Holy shit make this an extra for the PS3 we ain't got the memory to fit that motherfucker in on the 360!
I got up to the second visit to the ice town and I think the only extra thing I did was the mirror dungeon. That was pretty cool because it had Cam Clarke. I like Cam Clarke extras.

Oh, those water walls were damned fantastic and you know it. I had a lot of fun with that game, ignoring all the fighting and whatnot. It wasn't good but it was PoP.
I've been sitting on a PS2 slim purchase after leaving mine behind for my brother when I went to college a few years ago, but now that they're making all of those uprezzed PS3 ports I'm worried that they'll port most of the games I would want to get anyways.
Still, there were a ton of great games on that system, we'll see I guess.
I'm addicted. Minecraft owns me. I got it yesterday and it is one of the most addictive games I've ever played. Five hours straight just now. I'm seeing blocks. I implore everyone here buy it. Seriously. Didn't get the hype whilst playing around in the free version online but once I got survival mode (the premium version which is like $10) I've been blown away.
I also bought Gmod but bleh. Minecraft is eating my braiiiiiins

Why Vesperia's PS3 port didn't make it stateside, I don't know (probably money or something)

The Wire - Season Four
With season three, this already has my pick as the best show ever made, if not quite my favorite. And the kicker is, season four is apparently the best season according to most. Cannot wait.

I like it better on the N64, TBH. The only problem is that Juno's speech was unintelligible in the N64 port.

ToV was handily outsold by the ToS sequel over here.
Which is disappointing, because ToV is the best game in the series, and the ToS sequel was so so bad.
