also, are you forgetting Water Absorb? However low its health is, Waterfall would heal it up pretty well if you managed to come in on one.

I was all 'He couldn't be trying to make me do THAT, could he?'
...he was.
Edit: You like Sandstorm. Find a good Rock Pokemon to take advantage of it.

...How many hit points? I need to knooooooow!
I made several VERY BAD decisions there. I knew I'd be facing the guy that survived at some point, and I sorta threw both my counters away out of sheer stubbornness. Good game.
Ink! Can I play you in about a half hour? I need to go check out the Heavy Rain demo with housemates. They're waiting for me.

Eh, I put that guy on the team because of Stealth Rock + Roar + he's a tank and good to switch into on U-turn (which is my favorite move). I guess I'm not taking advantage of Sandstream.
Edit: 4 hit points. FOUR!

I'm probably going to change up which team I use, but would anyone else like to battle?
silence you're doing plenty to take advantage of Sandstorm. Rock types add to much weakness unless it's something like Cradily or Tyranitar. The only thing more you could do is maybe substitute Infernape for Lucario, or add some other Steel type.
Edit: Actually I take that back. You already have your Steel type. I'm not thinking!

Steel is a pretty awesome type; carrying two isn't unheard of, though it's usually Heatran as the second, who absorbs fire.

That was totally your match, though.
And yeah, no way to recreate it. You made some excellent decisions on multiple occasions. Maybe I've gone back to being Really Really Bad at this game.
Hm, okay Silence. Gimme a few minutes to put a different team together.

Which still used Stealth Rock with Sandstorm support!
>.> Point. It just does so much damage!
Thing is, Stealth Rock is pretty easy to set up, and Rapid Spin is pretty hard to get off, if the opponent doesn't want you to. I specifically made a Pokemon that could come in on Stealth Rock and resist the damage, blatantly carry Rapid Spin, with just enough EVs in the relevant attack stat and the right attack to OHKO most of the common Ghost switch-ins to block Rapid Spin. It'd then throw up Stealth Rock itself, that's how much I hated it. I very, very rarely set up Stealth Rock unless the person I'm playing does it first.
After three trouncings (two because I made bad, bad decisions, one because I insisted on bringing along stuff like Crobat, Azumarill, Claydol and Weezing to my fights), I think I'm done for the evening. It is a bad day for Pokemon for me.
That, and it's 1:40am, I need a shower, and I need sleep.
Heh. I wouldn't mind trouncing the Stealth Rock and Sandstream combo and show who's boss.

I need to learn how to play all over again. I've lost what little prediction skill I had, don't have the balls to stick to my guns with high reward plays, and get too stubborn when something Is Not Working and don't switch to a better matchup. And if I do switch, I was better off staying in.

Rapid spin always loses against stealth rock. They both take one turn, and stealth rock will always do damage before you can rapid spin unless they stealth rock agains your spinner. Spikes is a different story.
