    Fortress is a very common spinner in ubers. There was a phase when tons of people were using ho-oh and fortress.

    The ou cut-off point is 3.5% of standard teams. Being UU actually means that it is used in standard, just not as much as OU. The usage difference between a high UU and a low OU is minuscule. Of course the NUs just suck and no one uses them.(except like porygon2 which is useful in ou but not uu)

    Electric has 3 types in ou: rotom, jolteon, zapdos. Raikou is BL because it's basically a slower jolteon.

    Raikou is most definitely not BL. It's UU, and shouldn't be. I lost a game yesterday mostly because of it. Same deal with Cresselia (except I haven't seen it as much and hasn't made me lose a game) and possibly Porygon Z. Though I have not had a real problem against Porygon Z.

    I've only fought one Forretress in ubers, BTW.

    It was BL at one point, I thought it would be now again but it looks like they only got gallade/honchcrow.

    I remember when it was BL. I wish it still were, because I'm kind of sick of seeing it in UU. It's always the same Sub + CM one. It also potentially packs HP Ice or Grass.

    Yea, new DS is coming my way. My current one now freezes every time on the boot up screen.

    Should I get a DSi or another Lite? I think I am going to go for another Lite since it has the GBA slot.

    I'll just get it when it comes here. I want my DS for work tonight since I won't be doing anything. I can only browse the Internet for so long before I get bored.

    So, it was just freezing for about 4-6 power ups. Now I removed my Pokemon cart and it turned on fine. Put the cart in and it worked. I am still not putting up with this. New DS is coming.

    I've always wanted a Poison/Dragon. Make it a midgrade two-form hydra around the same power as Grumpig or something. And Farfetch'd really, really, really needs an evolution. That poor duck.

    I suspect that we he says bored, he more likely means exhausted. I know that's what happens to me, especially when I wind up in TVTropes. I'll be an hour in and see that I've still got 40 tabs opened and unread, stretching endlessly into the the horizon, and I'll know
    I'm not going to make it.


    Also, a Pokemon version of the Narwhal would be nice. You wouldn't even need to change anything, it already looks and sounds like a Pokemon. "Narwhal! Nar! Nar!"

    Since narwhals are the unicorns of the sea, I am suggesting a split water-type evolution of Ponyta (like they did with Politoed, Bellossom, Froslass etc.).

    Or maybe make new Pokemon species come out when you breed two different ones, like in the aforementioned example a Ponyta and a Wailmer would yield the new Narwhal?

    It would be simpler to just have it be a third stage of the wailmer line. That said, a narwhal pokemon would be incredible.

    So, there are a few Pokemon I'm looking to get, but unfortunately I don't have much to offer in return. If someone can help me out anyways, I'd really appreciate it.

    Hoping to get a Skarmory, Growlithe, Cyndaquil and Totodile. Out of those four, Skarmory is really the most important. The others, not so much. These are just for a Platinum playthrough, so IV/movesets/etc. aren't really important either.

    Since Skarmory is priority, if someone has a Skarmory they could trade away, I really wouldn't mind if the other three spots were different Pokemon than what I asked for. Surprises can be fun. :)

    Well, thanks in advance if someone is able to do this for me. I'll be here for quite a while, and I'll be watching forums. I do have have a (near) finished copy of Pearl, so if there is something I can trade you in return for this help, let me know, and I'll see what I can come up with.

    Some people are just incredibly deluded when it comes to these games. One guy on the Serebii forums thinks that the next game will be Pokemon Black, where you are a hitman who collects pokemon in "dark balls" to corrupt them and use them to kill people. Then the next poster declares this to be racist.

    If you've got a Totodile silence, I have the others. I've got a slew of Growlithe bred with not-terrible IVs and some solid egg moves, and it shouldn't take me too long to get Rogar a Skarmory. The Cyndaquil would take me a while though.

    Alternatively, I just bred 4 eggs (1 of each), so they'd be your trainer ID, if that's your thing. I know when I had to trade for out of version pokemon, I always bred them with a ditto so I could have "my own" copy, then I'd drown the heathen pokemon with a different trainer ID.

    Ah, that would be great. Is there anything I can trade in return?.. I have a finished Pearl version, and have Ruby/FireRed but those are only about half done. Legendaries, I can do trade backs with Articuno, Zapdos, Moltres, Mewtwo, Regice, Groudon. Sorry if I don't have anything of use, but maybe I can repay the favor sometime.

    You need not ever worry about wanting to have an Arcanine on your team. Seeing as how it's the best Pokemon in the game, you can't be faulted.

    Yep, Arcanine is pretty awesome. I had one bred up for double battles last time I played competitively, and he usually did pretty good.

    Arcanine is twice the Fire-type of any Ninetales. My Arcanine could beat a Ninetales any day of the week.

    In other news, what I'd like to see in gen 5: Tertiary typing. Charizard could be Fire/Flying/Dragon, for example. Put it in places where it makes sense.
