I just had a Seedot swarm in Emerald. So I figured, what the hell, they're super rare. This one came with Leech Seed.
Leech Seed is an egg move, not learned naturally.
Has this happened to anyone?

Edit: I maintain there was a chance Bullet Punch could've worked.
Definitely. I was surprised I held on, very lucky.
My first victory against you!
About damn time!
Yeah, i'll fight again if you want. Different teams of course.
I've battled a couple times today, and this has been my experience: You need to build a completely different team in a no SR environment, you can't just stick a team built around SR with a lead that doesn't use SR, and expect to do well. I don't have a lot to mix up my team, but I'll try to change a few of them around.
heh. Yeah its been awhile. I asked for advice on how to use this Charizard with an odd nature and a Hidden Power I considered useful (it ain't all that useful turns out) and you had a good suggestion. Its worked out well. Way better than the HP has.
Silence you can bring some Rocks if you really want, its not a big problem. I mean, it makes me more likely to lose usually but thats alright.
I'll head online in a minute or two.

I want my opponent to have fun as well, so, if folks tell me ahead of time no Rocks, I'll just make do. Also, I need to step away for a moment.

hey, did I already put one of your pokemon to sleep? Cause I'm pretty sure Breloom died and I see that one your pokemon has a status effect. I don't remember what though.

Huh, I thought Mence is faster than Vire. Guess not.
God Vaporeon is a nuisance.
well I'm done. Isn't much I can do to stop that Flygon
I know its dumb but I really felt like Hippowdon should have been able to take one Surf from Vaporeon.
Vaporeon appears to have a lot of investment in HP and one or both Defenses so its just so annoying to me that it could also dish out any good amount of damage.
stupid critical, I might have held on.

It's a very slight difference. Salamence is 5 base speed faster.

That's really odd. A quick google search reveals that you aren't the only one to experience it, but not the reasons. I guess that the swarm seedots could be special?

Did it also have Solar Beam, Frustration and Giga Drain? At level 25?
Known issue. But it seems to be the only Swarm pokemon with odd moves.

Issue? I don't see an issue here! That's awesome! You can have them in any kind of ball you'd want them to be (I don't really care myself, but Smogoners seem to be fond of using different balls).
So Ev Training has been extremely satisfying. I just Ev'd my Vaporeon who's level is 74, and it was awesome seeing +17 Special Attack come up when he leveled. Freaking awesome.
What nature is your mence? Adamant salamence gets outsped by +nature base 90s.
He's Naive with 176?ish Speed EVs, so still room for some improvement. I put the balance from maxing speed into Atk, I assume because it lets him OHKO something in the OU metagame with Earthquake, though I do not know what.

I am going to guess a physical attack charizard? Perhaps with belly drum.
Not even in the right ball park. Thing is nuts.
I don't think I ever thanked Chen enough for helping me come up with this setup for my odd little Charizard.
Thanks Chen!
Say thank you to Chen, Silence.

ahahahaha oh look it fainted!
This is why you use Stealth Rocks folks! MOTHERFUCKIN CHARIZARD
