That iPad presentation had to be the worst thing I've even seen on on the Apple stage. There is a part where they - I am not making a joke - there is a part where they try to make creating spreadsheets seem awesome.

That probably should've been the dialogue instead.

it's not difficult

in this comic trevor is apple, and tycho reacts as if he was slapping steve jobs himself in the face. but there's comedy because, of course, trevor isn't really apple at all, just a dude who wants to get lunch and is confronted with this outburst. yet there's also empathy for tycho, because it's an outburst welling up in all of us

in that case it would have been better if tycho had not called him "trevor"

but ok, that at least makes sense as a comic

well there's also the element that apple fans have become rabid enough that they personally become a representative of the company; if you wear their t-shirt, it's assumed you subscribe to their products and ideas so wholly that you don't need to speak your position. your t-shirt says enough.

whatever his good intentions, he ended up with a bloody beating. just from the associations of his apparel

Why doesn't anyone get this?

Read the comic before the iPad announcement. Tycho makes a rediculous plea for information about it.

This comic implies that Apple guy not only took him up on it, but they're now having some kind of relationship. But the iPad disappointed Tycho, so... slap.

This is funny, keep up.

The second comic affirms that Tycho and Apple guy indeed had sex after the events of the first comic and had started a homosexual relationship. It also denotes that even though they don't share the fancy for what brought them together, their love will endure regardless.
